Hello dear Myvi owners, just a pre caution for u guys, i did my 6.5 inch door panel mod at KF Audio Aman Suria..before installing they assured me that the work will be perfect..trusted them, hand over the car to them, it took 6 days for them to set up...even when i went to collect my car, one side of my door panel still not ready, they did some last minute work and the end result is i can say, SH*T..now I have to find another Installer and redo my door panel and have to spend again..sigh

This review im giving after 1 and a half month of usage..

1. Workmanship very poor, they did my door panel quite bad..one of the side is now vibrating when there's abit bass in the song, im not using any sound proof atm, but ive tested my friend's myvi, he did custom door panel dont know where and he's not using sound proof, no vibration at on his door, same type of song..

2. Now whenever I start my car, HU not on yet, there will be like buzzing sound coming from the speakers..even the radio is on, there is also the buzzing sound which make my songs feel like SH*T

3. They are very pricey I guess..I spend around 2k to mod,use et*n speaker and 8 ep**lon underseat woofer..the owner is a bit pushy on the products he sell, just stick to ur choice and always say that he does one of the best tuning, at last i tune my car on my own


4. I did alot of research on the net before setting up my ICE and read about KF Audio, read their positive comments, now very very menyesal spending that amount to get some rubbish kind of installation..


P/S : im not biasing on any side, these are my genuine review for ALL MYVI OWNERS who wants to enjoy their ICE in their beloved MYVI.

They maybe can fix & tune very well for cars which doesnt need to modify their door panel, but if u want to Modify your Myvi door panel, i advice please dont put KF Audio in your list..i believe the money we spent for ICE is for our pleasure but i ended spending for pain.

Just speak to their boss and get it done properly if not tell him ure going to tribunal court. You no need to spend more of your hard earned money.

tq you for your suggestion bro,i dont plan to visit that shop anymore..after finish installing everything, ive visited them multiple times to get all the small2 things fixed and now im having this issue..let me learn the hard way and its a message for other users..the shop will definately tell me that this is wear n tear issue and have to pay them again to get this fixed which is s big NO

the buzzing sound might be a real quick fix if you are using the passive xover for your component set...
just move then to a place where there is no other wires running close to it...
just a thought... no guarantee...

Well, sharing the sadness after reading through what you're experiencing yea having spent a fortune in your ICE project. Anyway, myself + a few ICE enthusiasts (we believed lah although we aren't any ICE master or sifu hihi) all boom-boom-pow in Myvi rides only are definitely enjoying our ICE-ing setup - perhaps we may meet up & share-share yea - regardless of any kind of ICE setup
