QUOTE(XxSupaNovaxX @ Sep 14 2014, 12:11 AM) I need ur help guys.
I have a printer canon mp145. The prob is when i print, sometimes the colour getting less (with external tank's lid ON).
Then i take OFF the lid, the color return to normal for a some time. Then the prob repeat, and i repeat the solution (put back on the tank lid).
For a standard printer, should the lid be OPENED or CLOSED? What seems to be the problem? Im getting annoyed. alternative solution, get 4 syringe. 1 syringe for each color. inject them directly into the cartridge hole. once u feel used up quite a lot already, refill. hassle-free. except when refilling.

Better than CISS Yeah, new models from epson ink tank and HP ink jet have affordable refills now. and that CISS is messy...very difficult to maintain, no support, sometimes wake up, half the tank is gone, countless cleaning and blowing the tank with a straw, and pity seeing ppl bring back the printers with CISS to the shop for repairs. I agree, Epson's factory built in CISS works good. After market CISS are crapshoots. Can work (rarely). But frequently not. When it does not, you have problems. Problems that wastes a lot of your time.
Then there are those Brother printers, with gigantic cartridges. They have those aftermarket cartridges that are so big, the printer door cannot be closed. But with the advantage that you can see the ink level in the cartridge, and you can refill the ink without removing the cartridge from the printer.
