I'm planning to get a new casing soon, still on survey progress. Now I got my eye on Silverstone RL04B. The case comes with only two front panel USB 3.0, however my aged motherboard doesn't have expansion for USB 3.0, it only has USB 3.0 on the rear I/O panel. So the question is that, can the the wire of front panel USB 3.0 connect to my motherboard USB 2.0 expansion header?
Thanks in advance for the help.
Usb 3.0 internal header on newer motherboard is 20-pin (actually only have 19), while usb 2.0 is 9-pinThanks in advance for the help.
Looking at tweaktown review of said casing, it doesn't seem to come with a multi-header adapter, only the 20pin ones.
So what you would need is something like this to connect to your motherboard's usb 2.0 header

The usage is like this

Fortunately though, NSR seems to have just what you need in sale
Alternatively, (assuming you have extra PCI-e slot unused), a PCI-e USB 3.0 card like here or here would be good too
