Finally got my lollipop update for my nexus 4. Now this phone is completely revive.

Thinking of buying a new battery to replace the one in my phone. Do u guys think tat it is worth buying a new battery if my current battery can still last half day?  Since the original battery is not that much larger.

Hmmm.. Some got it some don't.. Lots of users complain already btw, for those who don't know, check your device and look at the free ram. If your free ram hovering around 500mb then, means you are facing leaking issue or your background apps/services will go crazy.

You got 3 solutions,
1. Flash custom rom which fixes the bug
2. Restart your phone
3. Wait for 5.1

Yo guys my nexus 4 is dying on me.. Random shutdown if i turn on mobile data. When I restart the phone it boot up half way and then shutdown itself. I always need to plug it in to another power source i.e charger or powerbank.  I suspect battery problem.. I feel like the battery information on my device is inaccurate dy.. any ideas about the prob? has anyone replaced their nexus 4 battery?

Well just to share i manage to fix my nexus 4 by replacing the battery with a new one (DIY) So far so good. Im still testing out the battery tho. Seller said ori but I have my doubts. Battery cost me Rm 74.

Didn't really did any battery benchmark lately. I suspect it is not as strong as it used to be. Never really bother me since I just need to charge it every night before going to sleep (used to charge only once in 2 days). Note that I undervolt my phone and have wifi where I live and work... and while traveling I have this little baby:

For oversea, I also have my 10400mAh Mi Powerbank...

From my observation, the phone battery can last pretty good if you are NOT using 3G. I suspect this is due to the  Qualcomm WTR1605L seven-band 4G LTE chip. Using Wifi / 2G does make a lot of different.

My N4 still strong... cant really find a good replacement... i checked on Moto X (Play)... not impress... it's a good phone but not really a great phone that ahead of its time like N4 used to be

r u diy? i think u forgot to plug in the antenna cable. just reopen it and check all the connector.
anyway i also replace the battery today, will post report after some cycle.
