Well, basically you just need "CF-Auto-Root-mako-occam-nexus4.img"

1. adb reboot bootloader
- to boot into boot loader
2. fastboot boot CF-Auto-Root-mako-occam-nexus4.img
- boot into the CF auto root image
- it will patch the kernel to allow root
3. reboot

Rooted lollipop!

if you use the flash-all.sh, you will lose you custom recovery and data.

if u wanna keep your app and data, remember to remove "-w" from the flash-all.sh / bat.

it's easy to flash the custom recovery again after that.

alternatively, you can do it by-hand without using flash-all.sh / bat (remember to change the name accordingly):

for me, i always like to flash image factory image:

1. new radio!
2. keep all data/app
3. download from PC instead of OTA from phone
4. get to check the image file
5. work no matter how much modification u made to your existing phone

you know OTA won't work if you use bionic / qualcomm mod, etc

Upgraded to Lollipop. But it's still loading... for more than an hour.

Full wipe then reflash again.....should work

Normal for wireless charging, since they're cooking the phone

I always use factory image. Work all the time.

At this point, phone in green-android-mode.



If you see something like device not found, etc at this point, that mean your adb drivers is not the Universal driver. Follow these steps to make it Universal (https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=3345520&st=600&p=71498268&#entry71498268) or download it from XDA.



The last fastboot is without "-w". That will keep all your data and settings. You will lost Root and custom recovery. Easy to get it back. 

+for those who like to try out the shiets, just update your recovery as well

how do you know is soft key but not your digitizer?

The batt life was better than now, maybe batt's health condition time is up??

after flashing stock rom 5.0.1 using toolkit... my phone stuck at those circling 4 color dots...
