* - Eligible to all MALAYSIAN
** - Eligible to all BUMIPUTERA

Common Q and A:

- For Non Bumiputera, THE ONLY available funds for you is variable fund, those with the (*) and funds number 3, 4, 5, and 6 mentioned above. And there is NO MORE units left to buy all the other fixed priced fund. And thus YOU CAN'T purchase online. Please do take note before having any questions regarding the matter mentioned above and we will NOT giving out the same answer again and again.

- For Variable Price UT, the price (NAV) will be different EVERY SINGLE DAY. Thus, the unit you purchase will not be always the same and also decrease by 5% for a single transaction. The 5% lost is the service charge. For example, the NAV price for today is 1.912. When you purchase 100 units of UT, its not 191.20 MYR, but you have to cash out 125.16 MYR for the 100 units.

Variable Price UT are (Based on NAV) : ASN, ASN2, ASN3, ASG - Pendidikan - Kesihatan - Persaraan
Fixed Price UT are (1.00 MYR per unit): ASB, ASW2020, ASM, ASD, AS1M

From my experience.

No. ASG is not pro rated. Now only I realize. LOL. Maybe this is the reason why dollar cost averaging is being used in variable funds.

The ASG funds looks more like the same risk as they seem to be investing at the various banks. I put those funds that I can risk in UT. So risk averse in a way.  smile.gif

My main purpose is not to put all money in one ASNB funds but spread it out as dividends go up and down for these funds.
My sapu means simply buying. Not sapu lots & lots of them.  tongue.gif But before that already did some research eg I buy less of ASN-3 vs ASG funds. ALso diff proportion of the 3 ASG funds biggrin.gif
*
No worry.. Hehe. Asg in the past 10 have good total ROI. and the 3 fund only health is equity if not mistaken. And the fund proportion investment is all stable company like maxis pb mbb br axiata aeon drb.
And I compare to those fixed price all, more or less the same company. Just asg is directly affected by klci...
For the past 10year asnb product can consider as low or middle risk..

I think tis year dividend should be good. Past few years they keep c/fwd the profits.  Year 2010 & 2011 they announce same rate (6sen)

last few year ASG outperform ASN3. Tis year, need to wait for ASN3 then only can compare.

This year ASG still beat ASN imho. Because the massive inward flow happen during Q2 end and Q3 compared to the promotion done by ASG during Q1

SOS Why 80% unit trusts holders under performed?

http://klse.i3investor.com/blogs/sosfinance/59854.jsp

There was some discussion on UT vs ASX earlier.

Bottom line is, only a few are doing well. So, don't blindly jump into UT thinking the grass is greener there.

Cheerio.

Where is this "Jumlah Pulangan for Variable funds", is it in the AR ?
*
Total ROI and capital appreciation is key point. But in here, of course dividend payment also play a role.

I remember back in some day, 2008, one of the UT (not asnb) did terribly and NAV drop to another low, dividend only 3.36.

For those wanting to open new account to buy fixed price fund, no way to open the new account now ? Or have to wait when there is units available, then open new account to buy it ? The RHB manager told me cannot even try.

Sorry, hope I did not sound like broken record. Cannot seem to get a clear answer for the above.
*
Focus on variable funds and you will be amaze haha.

Compare to other UT... You will know the picture why I choose asg. People may say fsm better true with the low sc.. But I bought asg during 2% sc too hehe.

Looks like have to focus on variable price fund. ASG looks good for now.  rclxms.gif Kesihatan, Pendidikan and last one Persaraan.  smile.gif
*
Once I focus real hard on trying. But end up little amount only and time wasting and had to see sour face every single trying. If they have announce more units, only I will Sparta and that time I don't care what face they give already.

But in variable fund have to careful also.

Remember that asnb fund DO NOT have capital guarantee including those fixed price funds.
