A bit off topic for this thread, but just thought to drop a little note here.

Don't think PHP will be a good idea for what you're wanting to do, as it simply will not scale for that sort of large file uploads. You may be able to increase the upload_max_filesize parameter, but you'll hit a snag with your server RAM too. The uploaded file is retained in RAM until the upload completes, then is written to disk. You're bound to run into resource issues should more than a few users is to upload at the same time.

1 more thing, do u know how to fic the file name bug?
for example, if u upload file name hello.php
the uploaded file name become ello.php, less 1 char due to security problem but i hate it.do u know how to fix it?

it is hard to say how to fix it without see your coding

Did you put a backslash just before the "h" like " \hello.php"

Urgently, seeking a PHP programmer with some Graphics Design / CSS Skills to revamp 2 x Web 2.0 sites (each site would have roughly 5 modules to complete). Preferably a 1 person show or a team of 2 at most. A PHP Programmer with minimum 3 to 5 years experience should be skillful enough to handle the modules given. Work can commence ASAP.

Project Dateline
4 Weeks - 5 Weeks for both sites.
