Beta 2 of Mozilla Firefox 2.0 has just appeared on the Mozilla FTP in the release folder, it's safe to say that this is Beta 2 and not a pre-beta. Firefox 2 provides the same clean, streamlined, interface as previous versions, with small improvements to make it easier to use. In addition, it includes improved security features and useful tools to make the Internet experience safer, faster, and better than ever before. When a new versio of FF is out it always encounter extensions incompatibility. I hate that. Then need to uninstall it back while wait for the extension to be updated again.

Been using it for the past few days and it seems to have been behaving well. QUOTE(MaGNiFiCo @ Sep 1 2006, 12:44 PM) When a new versio of FF is out it always encounter extensions incompatibility. I hate that. Then need to uninstall it back while wait for the extension to be updated again. You can use the Nightly Tester Tools extension which would allow you to use incompatible extensions: http://users.blueprintit.co.uk/~dave/web/f...htly/index.htmlQUOTE(HeWhoMustNotBeNamed @ Sep 2 2006, 01:03 AM) Will this beta be able to update itself to final firefox 2.0 version using the [ help > check for updates ] function? It probably should be able to do that.
