My rig: smartphone, have a Fiio E6 but seldom use when feel not comfortable with it =="
- What type of usage:
mostly music
- File format used in your source:
most mp3, some flac
- Genre of music you listen to:
classical, jazz, rnb , k pop, pop
- Headphone/ earphone type:
IEM
- Other requirements
if have mic and volume control is better
- Budget:
below RM 300 if buying earlier
below RM 450 if buying later

was using nokia wh-920, and it's officially spoiled yesterday
used comply foam tips found it comfortable to wear but seems less hygiene if used for long time

May consider to buy SpinFit tip in my budget, anybody had tried using it, is it worth the money?

Have been looking around and found some IEM to consider
Can I ask for you guys’ opinions which are recommended and worth buying?

Below 300:
Vsonic gr06
Vd3s
Ostry Kc06
Kc06a
Havi Pro B3 V1 (seems hard to find seller with warranty in Malaysia)
ATH-IM50
JVC HA FX3X

Below 450:
Vsonic GR07 Classic
Shure SE215
Hippo Pro One
ATH-IM70
Hifiman RE-400
Final audio heaven II

I had once tried xiaomi piston 2 but I wasn’t satisfy with its bass
While I’m quite satisfy with the WH-920 clarity balance among all type of music, including classical, pop, jazz, rnb
Just don’t want the bass that is too “flat” with crisp enough sound

Or any better recommendation? @@”

Sorry if being dumb yet still requesting much ya, I'm lack of experience in it and need some help rclxub.gif

Your help is much appreciated notworthy.gif
Thanks anyway guys

Low gain for usually sensitive earphone/hedaphone, high gain vice versa.
Bass its just self explanatory, it's a bass boost.
Skip KC06/A, VSD3/S, RE400, Heaven 2, Havi Pro B3 v1 if you like solid, punchy bass with slightly emphasis in quantity, these IEM wouldn't deliver more bass then your Xiaomi Piston 2.
Shure SE215 has quite warmy bass, but to my ear they are certainly very... very flat.
Meanwhile i find IM50 and GR07 has solid bass, the texture is much more nicer in GR07 but IM50 sounds thicker and fuller, not to mention the GR07 suffer from sibilance with some track on some source.
Ignore JVC HA-FX3X, what's worthy in your consideration for JVC is the HA-FXT90, unique tuning with warm and fun bass, magical midrange and spacious treble. If you crave for more bass without suffer too much in clarity, can consider the HA-FXZ100/200. Even the RM1xx HA-FX40 is even better than the HA-FX3X.

Hi there

Thanks for the very detailed information

So ngam my brother used one is jvc hxt90
I've tried using it, its sound is some sort of well balanced and comfortable using it
And its cable durability is suitable for exercising too
Though, its price range ==

Now lazada has AT im50 priced RM239 and im70 RM359
And gr07 classic mostly is RM325

in term of performance I've seen review saying im70 stands out s little more
But I'm still hesitating which one worth more

Hmmph ==

Thanks anyway for all help from you guys anyway smile.gif

Budget = <RM100

No rig, just standard smartphone and work computer.
Usage: Listening to audio podcast and youtube videos
Fileformat: mp3, mp4
Genre of music : mostly games BGM, occasionally classical.
Earphones preferred.
Other requirements: Must be strong and not break easily.

FXT90 is cheaper than IM70. Only slightly around IM50 price.

IM70 is a little refined than IM50, bass is more controlled and the sound is not as congested as IM50.

Thanks for the tips anyway

I think I'll consider a while more then will proceed to buying

Thanks again smile.gif

Edit:

Are they the same in term of isolation of sound and comfort?
