Anything between 200-250 that I can get that can withstand me going to the gym and doing running? Source will be a sansa clip I listen to all genre's but when running and stuff prolly rock but i'd like to listen to relaxing songs too haha so i guess something in between neutral-ish. I used to have a pair of TDK BA200 those were great and would enjoy something similar in sound. note: if anyone knows anyone selling a Shure SE215 Blue for like RM250 or below let me know ! QUOTE(psychoactive @ Nov 8 2014, 06:38 AM) That's double amping.. not good at all. If you're using iPhone, you can use data cable for digital in. Meanwhile for android, I'm not sure if OTG works but it's always worth a try. Sony MDR-V6 or MDR-7506 (Best seller!) SE215 isn't a bad option, if not the more than needed isolation. Some of the few more options: VSonic VSD3/S, TTPOD T1E, Ostry KC06/A was considering the VSD3 as well but I kinda liked Shure IEM's but im torn between waiting for someone to sell a Blue SE215 or just get the black or CLear one.

ok guys I've upped my budget I guess to like around 400-450 currently looking at the ATH-IM70 really like it, but I think it needs just a teensy weensy bit more punch in its bass.
Any other recommendations in this price range? My source is Fiio X1

QUOTE(zongeva @ Nov 14 2014, 11:32 PM) hey guys, does anyone has any idea how Audio Technica IM50, IM70, and IM01 sounds? need some comparison between them. thanks! i've gotten the chance to listen to the IM50 and IM70, the IM50 I felt is geared towards bassheads. There's quite a bit of bass to a point I feel uncomfortable with just slightly but will be the love of anyone who loves listening to techno. The bass extends really deep and it's nice but just not to my taste. The IM70 on the other hand is more lighter on the bass, its nice and tight but vanilla wise I think it need's just a teensy weensy bit more bass extension since it already has a nice kick. Clarity wise I enjoy the IM70 more. I'd suggest you try it at E1's place at Sungai Wang, i'm just piecing together what my memory can pull out haha.

Guys I need help, I can't decide between the IM02 and the IM70. I've tried the IM70 but I don't know anyone who has the IM02, should I just get the IM70 or shoot the moon for the IM02?
Anyone has heard both can give any advice or comments? I read a lot of reviews but as always more is better.

QUOTE(psychoactive @ Nov 28 2014, 04:14 AM) VSonic VSD3S for more 'fun', bass. Havi B3 Pro 1 for precise music response, a little bass shy but has a crazily wide soundstage. Power-hungry as well. Koss PRODJ100, lower than your budget but filling in your requirement well. The IM02 and IM70 are like from different side of a coin. IM02 - Very analytical and dry. Feed it with good source + good music = heaven, feed it with garbage = garbage. Slightly towards cold side and treble might get a little spiky if paired with wrong combination of source. Separation and soundstage, are superb. IM70 - Forgiving, warm and thick sound. Bass can rumble well firmly and it has intimate midrange, a little peaky on treble as well but not sibilant at all. Totally fun sound. My 2 cent thanks for the answer bro
