QUOTE(ProfessorHi @ Apr 19 2017, 04:30 PM) Well I did say to wait for it to arrive to Malaysia. So, I personally have not tried it yet. However, one thing I'm sure of is, the Sony MDR-1000x sounds meh, quite under-performing for its price. You're mostly paying for its features, which are very impressive. On a side note, so far imo, the Sennheiser Momentum Wireless has the best sound in the wireless category albeit it being expensive. It's a fun sounding, mid-centric headphone, so it's meant for music listening, not studio use. If you want a flat response, then there's the PCX 550. Problem is i just want to get a decent one, I don't want anything so pricey cause I always spoiled them, I slept on too many of them and just spoiled.Just a heads up but specs usually do not tell you how a headphone will sound. So, best not to judge it solely on its specs. There's the MeeAudio M9B(earphone). However, I would recommend you saving up for a bigger budget if you would like to go for wireless headphones. You could also just go for wired. There's the Audio Technica's M40x (Not M50x), Sennheiser HD4.30 or the Sennheiser HD280 Pro (Requires Amp-ing). There's also a Sony MDR1-A going for RM700 at Mudah.my, if it's sealed just as the seller says, it'd be a pretty good deal. Or If you can chip in some more, there's the option of getting the Audio Technica MSR-7. The best budget earphone I would say is the V.E Monk, and the K.Z ATE/ATE-S for budget IEM. You can get them through Aliexpress. But seriously la brother, it's not that hard to save up money. Get a piggy bank, put in RM1 or RM2 a day, next thing you know, you can buy something decent. |

QUOTE(ProfessorHi @ Apr 19 2017, 05:00 PM) May I know how did your previous ones spoil? Wire problem or what? Pardon me as I can't really understand/picture what you mean by "slept on too many of them and just spoiled." Yes with wire problem i believe. Cause I listen music before sleeping. (it's very dangerous actually i know).By the way, paiseh. Just noticed your signature, accidentally used "brother". Putting those aside, perhaps if you invested in a sturdy IEM with detachable cables, I don't think you'll be able to damage them so much till the point it breaks unless intentionally. |

QUOTE(Lego Warfare @ Aug 25 2019, 05:35 PM) From what I've read, the SQ is quite similar. However I wouldn't pay much attention to the codec support since even with sbc/aac the WF version sounds good for a TWS. I didn't get to test it however, anyhow I already got the neckband one cause I personally feel that it's much better and it supports LDAC. |

QUOTE(ToniV @ Feb 22 2020, 11:54 AM) Probably a few months time the jabra 75t may drop price. I would go for that unless sony release a smaller design, water proof with anc and 12 hours better life. I heard that Jabra is better with its mic as compared with Sony. Planning to get one, the Sony price point is amazing but then I'm afraid of that the microphone is bad. |

I remember watching or reading about Sony products that I find it quite true.
That Sony makes their products super honest. If you give it a bad quality file (video or audio), sony products will show you all the faults, without you realising that it's actually the quality of the file that's bad in the first place. But when you put a good quality file, you will see the difference and be amazed by its performance and what Sony products can do. Whereas all other products are just outputting mediocre visuals or sounds regardless what files you give them. Don't know how true though. I am no experts. Just happened to cross my mind when i was reading these. Though I musty say, even if there are a lot of other brands out there, Sony always has a certain good standard. |

Hi, I’m looking for a TWS mainly for my jogging/sports needs.
I’m currently using AirPods Pro but I find that it keeps getting lose when I jog, and it’s annoying and distracting to need to always take care of them, because I don’t want them to fall and hit the road or drop into the drains or whatsoever. So I would like something stable and decent, my budget is about rm100-rm300. Any recommendations? |

QUOTE(@Adele @ Sep 3 2021, 02:59 AM) Hey guys, Im looking for noise cancellation earphones. Want to mask out the footsteps of my neighbour above me If footsteps are like very sudden noises, might not cancel the noises out effectively. It is most effective when there’s a constant sound, like machines, or engines, airplane sound. Can read up on how ANC work. And check YouTube there are a lot of demonstrations actually, the good ones on how ANC sound like. Or else just get an ear plugs?Do they work? If yes, which one is ok? Did some research and saw sony and bose has good reviews Thanks a bundle |

Right now i'm using AirPod Pro, though it's usable with my Samsung S22. I'm thinking to move to Sony or Samsung TWS.
However, my requirement is that i want really good microphones, cause i only use the TWS for phone calls. Any recommendations? Thanks. |
