I come from an era of Monster Turbine Pros, UE TripleFi 10s, and UE Super.Fi 5 Pro (as daily drivers).

8 years have passed and all my IEMs are dead (due to abuse, flood etc etc). Looking at the internet now and UE went fully customs, Monster went full retard, leaving me totally lost.

Appreciate if anyone can point me the way to IEMs that have similiar sound signature with these IEMs that I used to have

I used to use the Super.Fi 5 pro as my daily's and the Turbine Pro (Gold) and TripleFi are usually for home listening use.



The budget for my daily is around MYR500-700 and for the home listening is around MYR1200 each



Any suggestions are much appreciated

Wah TFZ China made IEM ah? Walao didn't know the Chinese entered into the IEM market, damn. Guess I'll give it a look into.

Any alternatives to Sony? Kinda traumatized with them, my previous IEMS from them only lasted for a year

Hi sifus,

I lost my Shure 846 (I got it for RM 3k), I can't afford that much anymore due to loss of job.

Recommend me an in-ear wired that is as good or better for around RM 1k-2k range. I miss the sub-bass response and the overall soundstage/range of the 846 when I switched to my A-Jays 3 and Beyerdynamic DTX80.

I've been totally out of touch from the latest IEM scene and I'm confused with what to buy nowadays. If the shure 846 is too much of a benchmark, maybe something close to Monster Turbine Pro Gold?

- Your rig (Sony Xperia phone with GoVibe Martini)
- What type of usage (music and occasional calls)
- File format used in your source (flac/monkey's audio & mp3 320kbps)
- Genre of music you listen to (EDM, Classical)
- Other requirements (if any) (wired with mic if possible, occasionally use for zoom/webex meetings)

Thanks for your recommendation, however, the current price is at 2k range(the fw03 is at 1k range with the fw02 at 1.5k range) I might as well get a Audio Technica ATH-E70
