Thanks for the confirmation. That amount of tax need to pay is cheap.

I was considering getting a hifiman HE-400i on amazon.. 178usd plus 80usd for shipping and tax...
Looks like massdrop is a better option.. 170usd plus 35usd for shipping and tax.

Wanted to recommend Focal Elear. What a great headphone so far. Clarity, very dynamic and bright. Pairing it with the Chord Mojo, it gets a bit dark just slightly, but not by much. Have to say I'm a fan of Focal now, after sticking to Audeze for so long.

Only thing that scared me off from getting it is mostly the driver issues I heard online. I heard reports of quite a few before, but most I know who owns it doesn't have any problem so far.

It's not particularly similar between them, but I haven't really compared them much yet. So I can't really give a good answer till I start comparing them

I got asked Starspicker and they recommend me Uranus HP-4C 7N Deep Cryo OCC custom cables for my Elear. Don't have any info on it besides the IEM version. You think it's good guys? RM400 satu haha

Finally, my schiit heresy arrived!

Pairing with the recent topping E30. my dacx6 retires - i fried my ac adapter the other day.
My thoughts, using the HD6xx:

- Vocals are cleaner and clearer
- the shaping and imaging is superb - very fun to listen to
- It's very clean! almost no hiss with IEM's (1-2%?) - noticeable hiss with the previous dacx6.
- listening session is not so fatiguing compared to the dacx6
- i hear stuffs i've never heard before - on familiar tunes.
- so much juice left, over 11 o clock my ears will bleed.
Downside:

- they don't look the best - E30 is longer and the Heresy is wider . LoL
- the knob of the schiit amp turns smoothly, but I kinda miss the dacx6 clicky knob.
- the switch at the back of the heresy is kinda annoying ... need some time to adapt
But overall, I'm very happy with the stack, it has brought me closer to my music more than ever.

Looks good despite the stack not the same size tbh. I was looking at the Schiit Heresy as well to pair with my Focal Elear, appreciate the feedback. Was also looking at JDS Labs Atom as the other alternative, or Topping D50(used) at that time for something around the similar price range.

Audeze price for gaming is not bad compared to their non-gaming offering.
Sound and battery wise rather good. Just it's kinda heavy and the top headband is uncomfortable.
Need to make sure to always change the EQ profile as well for better sounds experience.
In the gaming class I think they are pretty good. nod.gif

Significant improvement in terms of what? What do you currently have?
Sound wise probably better maybe, battery as well I guess.
