Source: Galaxy S4, Asus N56 laptop
Music type: Instrumental, jazz, vocal
File type: Mostly FLAC.
Type: IEM, good isolation is an extra bonus as I frequently travel by small aircraft which has loud engine noise
Budget : 700

Tried FAD Heaven II and I like it, any other suggestions? Read of good comments about TDK BA 200 and GR07, any recommendations regarding these 3 models or perhaps other suitable one? Thanks

Around 680. For the price, they perform really well for almost all genres that I care to test them with.

E1 in Sungai Wang has them on demo

ATH-M50X is good for your choice of music  smile.gif
Other suggestion would be the VModa M-80. (if you're ok with on-ears)  cool.gif
Vocal + Airy treble signature,
Brainwavz B2 (analytical signature)
JVC HA-FXT90 (unique tuning sparkly treble and sounds good with vocal)
Brainwavz R3 (slightly relaxing treble but pleasantly airy)
Audio-Technica IM70 features thick warm sound and sorta bassy signature.
Another notable mention is Yamaha EPH100/RHA MA750.  smile.gif
IMO, Havi B3 Pro 1 is more superior than GR07 and BA200, most importantly, they are cheaper  thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif
Some recommendation based on your music type, mostly aren't very good in isolation since they have vent hole to maintain an spacious/airy sound presentation.  smile.gif
Ortofone e-Q5
Sony MDR-EX600
VSonic GR01

Have you tried the Yamaha EPH-100? Warm signature and I love it...it sounds very lively~! smile.gif

Pretty good all rounder earphones (I listen to a wide range of music... ballads, pop, jazz, instrumentals, piano, guitar, flamenco, rock) for my ears, pretty much suits most genres.

Highly rated for its price and by the famous headfi reviewer!

Seems to be available at Sungei Wang for auditioning:
