VSonic VSD3S for more 'fun', bass.
Havi B3 Pro 1 for precise music response, a little bass shy but has a crazily wide soundstage. Power-hungry as well.
Koss PRODJ100, lower than your budget but filling in your requirement well.
The IM02 and IM70 are like from different side of a coin.
IM02 - Very analytical and dry. Feed it with good source + good music = heaven, feed it with garbage = garbage. Slightly towards cold side and treble might get a little spiky if paired with wrong combination of source. Separation and soundstage, are superb.  cool.gif
IM70 - Forgiving, warm and thick sound. Bass can rumble well firmly and it has intimate midrange, a little peaky on treble as well but not sibilant at all. Totally fun sound.  thumbup.gif

Has anyone here tried the Earwerkz EP-2 before? What's your take on it? Is it a good competitor to the JH5?

I would get the KC06A for your case, or the better Havi B3 Pro 1 in case you plan to get a DAC/AMP later.
GR07's sibilance will kill you with your jpop.

As far as i know, there's no official retailer in Malaysia. However, you can order it via online.
The Havi indeed its power hungry, but then it sounds pretty decent from normal source, I usually bring it around with my tablet and the sound quality alone still impresses me.

Hi there, looking for budget IEM maybe less than rm500? (the lower the better)

just want a fun sound signature for my gym routine laugh.gif no specific songs, mostly those new pop songs (becoz gym lol).

will be plug straight to my iphone though, no external dac/amp.

is Audio Technica IM50 a good choice?

also how's the warranty service for audio technica in malaysia? fast? because there's a price gap between local set n oversea set, n if the warranty service is poor i rather get the oversea's set lol

Hi,

Recommend me good headphone pls.

- Budget max RM550
- Usage 50-50 gaming and music/movie
- Listen to all kinds of music. Metal, rnb, pop, jazz, classic, rock, etc.
- Prefer open.
- Must be circumaural.
- Will be used 90% on PC, the rest would be with phone.
- No DAC, no amp, not planning to buy one.
- File format mostly .mp3.
- Comfort is a must, since I'll be wearing it for 2-4 hours straight.

My last headphone is Sennheiser HD448, very comfortable, good bass, good at low and end. Looking for something that is at least as good as this, both in comfort and sound quality (headphone with emphasize on bass is a big no no).

IM50 is a good choice if you're looking for fun sound signature, but I strongly advise that not to use it while in GYM since the IM50 isn't sweat proof.
I'm not sure about the Audio Technica warranty, their products is very sturdy and robust, never had a chance to exchange before.

Audio-Technica AD700X. Easy to drive, no amp required, very comfortable.
Superb for gaming and movie too.

Just let it play through, with your ear. No specific genre is required but try to cover a wide range of it.
