No recommendation, but advisable not to go to the one opposite Puduraya/ Tong Shin Hospital (can't remember the doctor name). But if you pass by, can see signboard big big.

Reason, whatever you see him also he will ask you go for operation one rclxub.gif

I've went to Dr. Raymond from Iheal (Midvalley). He has very sophisticated equipments. Price wise is pretty reasonable.

Later on, I tried for a second opinion, thus I went to Dr. Chang Chew Ming from Pantai Bangsar. Very down to earth ancient establishment. But he's a very experienced doctor. Not such sophisticated equipments as Dr. Raymond, but much pricier.

If I'm not mistaken, there should be a thread about this as well here.

Thanks.

Just walk into private hospitals. Sunway, Pantai, Gleneagles, Sime, KPJ, etc. There are plenty of them. Each hospital at least has 3 ENT doctors available at anytime.

What is your problem? Anyway, Dr Koay Cheng Eng from Sunway Medical Center is highly recommended, he formally from Gleneagle, been in Sunway for 2 years.

I gotto know recently that my dad's nose was operated by him and it worked perfectly till now. I bumped in to Dr Koay two months ago because of deadly bad cough, been trying for Chinese & Malay traditional treatment, Western medication, wasted so much money and time.

I was recommended by lowyat forum to c Dr KCE, my one month cough was cured by him within a week, i was so impressed. Thank God

To search for a good doctor, from KL to Sunway I think is worth it lor.. Hope this help.

hey there! sorry to revive this old thread, is there any GPs that are familiar within the ENT side of things around KL? Just want to seek some GP consultation before seeking specialist.

Would like to check the latest information on good ENT specialists that not only give good advice ie. only suggesting or recommending surgery when necessary, successful operation without any serious follow-up complications etc. with reasonable consultation fees.

From the search on the internet, there are a few but so far I've shortlisted 2 based on this link: https://www.24local.com.my/ent-specialist-malaysia/

1. Dr. James Kok Adult and Child ENT Clinic Damansara
2. Datuk Sushil ENT Specialist

Based on my previous encounter with other ENT specialist mainly consultation, I do not recommend Dr Koay Eng Cheng of Sunway Medical centre.
Dr Chang Chew Ming of Assunta hospital, I consulted him for my ear which is a minor problem, no issues. No issue with Dr Dr. Muthu Kumar Murugesan and Dr Arvin Balachandran of Bukit Tinggi Medical Centre too for minor checkup and cleaning of the ears.

This time it is more major which may require surgery to correct a deviated septum. Has anyone got any experience with the above 2 ENT specialists? Or any other good encounters? I would appreciate some advice.
