 QUOTE It is based on the novel with the same title.
Kawahira Keita was a descendant of historic Inugami(*) tamer family. However, because he lacked in its ability, he was forsaken by the family. One day, an Inugami named Yoko came. She looked graceful, obedient, above all, beautiful. Soon he contracted with her, and she paid homage to him. However, she was a problematic Inugami that no one had been able to control.
This is a slap stick comedy of an Inugami Tamer, Keita and an Inugami, Yoko. Keita is a man of worldly passions, and he likes money and girls very much. On the other hand, Yoko likes to destroy things and very jealous.
(*) In this novel, Inugami is a sacred being. It contracts with a human with power to help him exterminate evil monsters. AnidbAnime NFOSupprisingly i didnt find any post of this anime or possible it was prunned...... oh well, personally this anime is not bad for myself n the artwork for me is quite good. i would like to know about Kouru who have 10 inukami...
why is he need so much inukami than his grandmother & his cousin, Keita???from 13 episodes i have seen, there still no scene about Kouru except his 1st appearence at episode 13 when they (Keita & Youko) defeat Shinagami

I quitted watching this.
Find it a little annoying when the inukami (forgot her name) with Kenta always Dai Jaen or teleport him with no apparent reasons.
But laughed alot during that episode when those macho sumo/judo man was possessed. Haha. A lil disgusting though. Lol.

Watched it because reviews was good but I really think it's because of Yui Horie fanboys. She delivers as expected (in line with her other assertive heroine characters like Naru of Love Hina, Eri of School Rumble, etc).
Plot and script wise, it is very typical; boy saves the world with help from friends. Some parts of the pervert-ness are funny but they reused the same ideas too many times. The ending was poor, as in too typical and predictable.
I'll probably remember this series as another Yui Horie solid voice acting. She's good at the 'aggresive girl' type character but she's also very good as the maid robot Multi (To Heart), an obedient/innocent character.

Well in the novel they have a kid. And considering the offspring of a human and a kitsune should have special powers (it was rumoured that the famous Omnyouji Abe no Seimei was the son of a Kitsune)
