Advice on which teeth brace should I choose.
Been to 2 different dentist, let's call them A and B
Feel like both got pros and cons.

A) Invisalign    vs  B) Zenyum
A) Invisalign
Already did the free consultation and they use iTero scanner and I can see the simulation instantly. Since my case is mild and would most likely take 5 months to complete. So far I am satisfied with the 'after' simulation result.
They said if I am interested we can do ClinCheck next and pay few hundred ringgit. (haven't done yet)
Thing is, they say x-ray is not required since my back teeth will not be affected (questionable? no x-ray before Invisalign?). Once ClinCheck is okay then can start my treatment

B) Zenyum
Did the initial consultation with x-ray scanning and using the Mold/Dental Impression 2 weeks ago and was still waiting for the simulation result. Already paid for the initial scanning fee.
Felt that this dentist is good but they don't use scanner and still use Mold/Dental Impression (old technology?). Would it affect the outcome compared to using scanner? And he also said I am the first Zenyum customer in here but already did many other brand of tooth brace for other customers.
Price is like 35% cheaper than the A) Invisalign.
Has good reviews on Google.

TLDR ;
A) Invisalign one has high class feeling inside and use better tech, but says no x-ray needed
B) Zenyum one is cheaper and took X-ray, but used old tech, and I will be the first Zenyum customer

Wonder which one should I choose?

I am not in Malaysia but went with Invisalign.

Invisalign I think you can choose yourself since you don't have to send your teeth picture using the app.

Zenyum one they will assign to you. Not so sure about location

I just went for Invisalign assessment, did a x-ray scan and turn out my overbite are quite serious... Suggestion is to remove 2-4 teeth, or none at all, just usual alignment but the end result most likely not be satisfy, depend on my choice

They still working on the detailed treatment plan for all these 3 option, will go back to discuss again when they are ready. After went home suddenly it come to my mind, if I choose the plan of removing 2 upper teeth, will my upper and lower teeth kinda unbalance? Is this fine? Although I cant do proper bite now also lol

if remove 2 upper teeth, it would usually be one on the left and another on the right, which will still balance your teeth.

As for your bite, the treatment is supposed to improve your bite for both upper and lower.

So removing 2 upper teeth will not cause imbalance.

Thank you for reply biggrin.gif .
And 1 more thing, If I choose to remove 4 teeth, would it affect my eating before the treatment complete (using invisalign)? Since that will be some gap for something, do I need to avoid hard food for the period?

your chewing may not be affected so much as you probably still has at least 2 or 3 pair of teeth to help with your chewing, but there will be some adjustment period right after removal of the teeth.

No need to avoid any hard food or have any strict diet especially using invisalign

Just back from dental, doctor asked to get whitening toothpaste because that's always stains on my gigi.
Got sidetracked by other question, i forgot to ask about the details of the whitening toothpaste.
What kind of whitening toothpaste the doctor mean? The common toothpaste I bought from the stall did mentioned whitening function too, i guess that's not enough? What kind of specific toothpaste should i get and where can i buy them?
