I just had scaling done in a clinic in Bangsar early this week. The dentist wore full PPE including face shield and respirator. Quite difficult to hear what she said during the consultation.

Some clinics i called don't do scaling during this CMCO period though because they said scaling procedure creates aerosol.

Do call up your preferred clinic and enquire first, and best to set an appointment.

also enquire if they are performing Aerosol Generating Procedure (AGP) eg scaling, fillings. usually they would be equipped with full PPE and maintain strict infection control.
