No, a young lady who told me that  Dr How is her Sifu.

Watsapp her this morning asked her how many times I need to go for this n my gum still got pus.  She said that the infection of my tooth is quite bad when she first saw me. She is trying to keep keeping my tooth clean as I wanted to keep my tooth whereas Dr HOw told her again n again that no point to keep my tooth.

REally cant cure?????

She said even if I go elsewhere they will ask me to extract the toot n wouldn't even bother to do the root canal n told me tat if got cases of toothache don't wait too long if not its hard to save the tooth.  REally cant cure???

You've been taken for a ride.

Both upper left premolars require RCT to be done.

The one that you recently had RCT done, is obturated with filling material short to the apex by roughly 1.0mm, ie: the full extent of the tooth was probably improperly cleaned and/or not filled completely.

The tooth infront of the one you recently had RCT done, well, it needs RCT as well, and with a fair degree of probability, is also the origin of the pus you keep mentioning about.

Lasering donno how many times without treating the main cause is a big waste of time, painful , and a great money earner for someone. thumbup.gif

Hi, it's very nice of you to offer professional consultation here.
I am glad such opportunity to get advice is available here.

Not here to challenge anything, just have an issue and want a good advice.

Issue: A few tooth is filled with amalgam.
Need: Want to safely replace the amalgam with epoxy cement. Want to know which Malaysian specialist can remove the amalgam safely and replace it with epoxy.

Before that, let me show you how some dentists in the US are removing amalgam with some safety precaution.
Safe Removal of Amalgam Fillings
From the pictures in the linked article, which Malaysian specialist have the awareness and knowledge to provide similar safety precaution when removing the amalgam?

And some questions on removing amalgam.
1. What is your position on the mercury issue? How much knowledge do you possess about mercury?
2. Do you use a rubber dam when removing amalgam?
3. Is your suction system powerful and efficient? Do you use a special tip (such as “Clean Up,” available from IAOMT) or its equivalent?
4. Do you apply copious amounts of water to the filling upon removal?
5. Do you remove the mercury/amalgam filling in large sections?
6. Do you utilize alternative air sources and/or equipment to reduce mercury inhalation?

Just a link FYI:

Go to any dental school and get it done by any student. They are the only ones in Malaysia will use a rubber dam.
