Just got Root Canal Treatment on my RH 1st premolar... cost RM650 with built-up filling too.

Can't do crowning yet due to wearing braces so need to be xtra careful in bite hard thing

Yes.. you can go for initial checkup (with paying small amount) and get the right cost

some place may get free if you really going to comeback for the repair

Tooth cap is Crowing I think, usually put on tooth that had done root canal. Prices 500~1k subject to size each... I need 1 too after finished with my braces

It's common that dentist will clean/re-bore the hole a bit before doing filling so that the it can stick properly.. You need to go back to the dentist and told them about the pain that you're having.

Indeed not really equally same... know to me last 3 years only... now using Sensodyne and extra soft toothbrush

I think lesser than that, can try survey... myself not yet put crowning but last time <2k crown itself

you can ask the doctor for other option such as x-ray at own cost to reconfirm either removal indeed the final call...

I've been in same conditions before when removing 2nd Molar (1st tooth gone in the line ) and eventually re-visit to ask the "Why suggest to remove"...

from there I'd knew what's Root-Canal, Crowning, Bridging and several more term that maybe have 50/50 chances for me to keep my tooth

I did spend ~5k to do root-canal on my 1st Bicuspid few years later did save it but need to be xtra careful not to crunch any hard things since not yet crowning (the tooth basically dead but remain in my mouth )

so in my layman understanding even spend >5k it's not guaranteed the tooth will perform as before and be there till death do me part

my dentist told it last longer than usual how long subject to individuals... if smoking maybe shorter too

can get DiY too
