Hey all. I have a serious inflammation since last Thursday. Till now my right cheek is swollen. I have a feeling that it's my partially out wisdom tooth is causing the problem now. And also the gum half covering it. I went to the dental and she said she couldn't do anything except giving me antibiotics and painkillers. She did however do x-ray though, and I could see that they are very straight. Is it necessary to pull them out? Cause that's what she suggested. I have needle phobias so I don't know what to do about this.

Just wondering how have you been? Has the swelling subsided after taking the medication?

I'm having the same issue, i think it's my wisdom tooth causing my left cheek swollen but there's no pain tho.

Its a sign of a start of infection. probably at a mild stage which may resolve on its own.. Do salt gargle rinse.

Its better to get it removed as soon as possible to prevent further infection that may increase complications in future.

Yea, just got back from the dental clinic. Been advised to remove not 1 but 2 wisdom tooth, both top and bottom. Prescribed antibiotics as well.

Just curious, will gum/teeth infection cause feverish or mild fever?
