Anyone using sonic toothbrush?

Heard from friends this brand not bad http://oralspa.com/

Surveying around which brush would be most effective and economical

Hi, recently dentist found a bad hole in upper right wisdom tooth and put filling.

He actually recommend me pull out the teeth cause very hard to clean.

Recently last sunday very bad pain felt. if i open my mouth big or drink cold/hot water painful. feels like sharp throbbing pain.

Tuesday i started gaggle salt and now feels a lot better. Symptom subsided

Going to see dentist friday, roughly whats wrong? Thank you.

Recently I noticed a pimple-like abscess right above the gum of my root-canal-treated and crowned tooth. Back then this tooth surgery was done 10 years ago, in my secondary school age.

After I visited a dental clinic in Ipoh for checking, the dentist said that my previous treated root canal has infected with bacteria and it's causing the inflammation (the abscess).

He implies that no dentist in Ipoh is capable in performing the treatment (drilling the crown, cleaning the bacteria and sealing back with medicine).

And this surgery can only be done in KL and its price is RM2,000, which way too much for me to afford. Finally he recommended me to look for Dr. Saw too.

Is there any government-clinic or specialist can offer such skill and treatment in an affordable price? I really appreciate your sharing. TQ

hi, i just want some light here. last december my teeth hurt very bad, i went to a dentist and he said 2 options, remove or root canal. first one is rm300 second is rm1500. i chose root canal cause he said it can save the teeth. now 3 months later i got tingling pain in the same area even though he perform the treatment already.

i also got 3 very severe cavity and was thinking should i remove all 3. i never go dentist before my first severe pain. never do all those scaling cleaning whitening thing too.

i just want to know how much would i need to pay for all the treatment i possibly need. cause i feel cheated when i pay rm1500 and still got the pain. its the reason why i never go to dentist in the first place because it's so expensive.

First, i dont know what that dentist did to you for your root canal teeth, so i cant comment on it.

Secondly, im sorry but, we, dentist are not god, there are no 100% in all the treatment we provide.

Thirdly, please remember this ' Dentistry is not expensive, Ignorance Is'. If you do yearly check up, which will cost you roughly Rm100 to Rm200 per YEAR, compare to repairing ONE teeth for Rm1500. So you do the math, if you have done your check up in first place, none of your problem will occur today.

Hi, i've done 1st phase of root canal treatment on my molar in UM last week. The UM dentist suggest that i can continue RCT outside as the waiting list is very very long.

So last friday i went to a dentist as my another side tooth was pain and found out it was wisdom tooth. So i have it remove and ask about the RCT as well. But seems like he doesn't want to pick up what's left by UM and suggest me to go back to UM.

Today i went to another dentist in ss2 because the filling for the RCT i did in UM fell off. And i mention about the RCT as well, he suggest that he can send a letter to a specialist and they charge around 2.5k. And not sure whether they will accept my case or not because i've done the 1st phase in UM.

So anyone have the same experience with me? any dental clinic willing to pick up case like this?

Thanks for the input guys.
