Nice, i'm guessing you plan to spray the chrome grille black? Planning to do the same when i get my car. But quite hard to imagine how it will look with the headlamps shaped that way.

Have you gone for the first service? The mineral oil can be extended till 10k interval?

Does proton allow us to bring our own engine oil?

1.3 mt standard owner, had the car for exactly one week:

Issues so far (will get it sorted during 1k visit)

1. Power window switch for driver door doesnt work suddenly, seems like the switch doesnt click/contact issue. Anyone else have this prob?

2. Reverse sensor abit weird sometimes works sometimes doesn't. I was really close(few mm) to car behind but sensor didnt give the long beep sound. Happens occasionally.

3. Just noticed the fitting of the glove box abit crooked.

Thats it so far, nothing too major other than driver power window.

I am very pleased with the car, drives very well and handles great. Personally, i wouldnt enjoy the car as much if it wasnt manual transmission though, and i think the 1.6mt is the best of the bunch,too bad need to wait so long. Whats this i hear of a R3 1.3 turbo special? Envy.

Will be going for 1k service soon.free oil is mineral from what i gather? Does that mean my service interval will be every 5k if i opt for mineral oil? In order to extend 10k interval, i should top up for semi oil at least?
