I will be headed to Perth trow. Hope to pre-register and be at the store on 19th because I'm also coming back to KL the very same afternoon. Getting myself a Grey 64GB iP6 .... if anyone is interested, I'm getting an additional White 64GB iP6. If anyone wants, PM me for the white, otherwise, I'll just have to pass it on to my wife to use. I'll only ask for minimal deposit, maybe RM150-200 via online banking. And you'll be paying full price of AUD after conversion, nothing more. Consider the VAT refund that I can receive as remuneration for my effort. Won't consider any other units/color so that I don't risk anyone FFK. My wife only wants the white 64GB if no one wants to buy it.

p/s : or meet me in my office in Puchong to know where I work and pass the deposit then ... my flight is tonight via AirAsia@KLIA2 just past mdnight. My email is ctjmatt at gmail dot com

Other than that trolling noob offering 4.5k. What rubbish.

Can't wait for ur review on the new ip6  nod.gif

I saw that and will be doh.gif if people willing to pay that much, then again, who knows lol. I'm also going on a company trip early Nov to Japan and despite the cheaper iPhone price, I can't seem to confirm its usability here in Malaysia ... too bad. At current exchange rate for YEN, it's only less than RM2,100 for the 64GB thumbup.gif

thanks for the help. smile.gif

Yes, it states sim free. Just curious to it's meaning. After translating, I am still unsure. Sim Free = Unlock? I thought Sim Free means a phone which doesn't use a sim card sweat.gif how noob of me.

Your iPhone reservation is confirmed for pick-up on Friday, 19 September. Be sure to arrive during the pick-up time you selected. While youโ€™re here, we can get your iPhone up and running just the way you like.

Yippee

Can't wait to queue at the Perth City Apple Store this Friday. Email asked me to arrive on time for my collection time between 8-9am. Hopefully, I can purchase more than just the reserved unit. Need to catch a 3pm flight back to KL soon after that. Busy Friday lol ...

Can help me grab 1 more unit? Give u RM300 for coffee

I don't mind but only with full payment transferred to my account. Don't want any FFK and end up with a unit no one wants ... U have 24 hours lol ... I'm trying to get an extra 64GB Silver iP6. If no one wants to buy off me, will pass to my wife to use. This unit, no deposit required. No extras, just as per listed price in AUD. Anyone can book with me via PM. Any other specs/model will require full payment. Refundable if can't get one.

Perth City Apple Store. I'm in reserved line where there's only 5 ahead of me for the 8-9am slot. Max 2 units outright only.

Sadly, no additional units beyond the reserved units, which was 1 per Apple ID. My wife is going to kill me ๐Ÿ˜…

Will register another Apple ID for such purposes next time ... Sorry to those who PM'ed for reservations.

My review after using the iPhone 6 since last Saturday, 20/9/2014.

1. Size wise, takes getting used to. I don't have large hands and feels odd when my thumb reaches for the nos for pincode. Now have resorted to fingerprint ID. For me, no more single handed use. Again, will take getting used to.
2. Battery - I would say it lasted me significantly longer compared to my iP5, despite meddling with it continuously.Thumbs up for me. Hate phones that won't last me the day.
3. Camera - focuses faster and quality is better than my iP5. Can't believe it took Apple till iOS8 before implementing timer. Front camera definitely would be attractive to those loving selfies, but personally, not wide angled enough for groupies/groufies .. whatever you call it tongue.gif Thumbs down for the front camera.

All in all, the hardware isn't much to shout about. The bigger screen does help a little bit with viewing. But iOS partially resolved that when I was using iP5 by allowing bolded text. That helps especially those who struggles with small words. Being thinner, I am now starting to wonder how much thinner it will get before it gets too flimsy to hold, especially when taking selfies.

But thumbs up for its build quality. Direct competition for latest HTC One. Samsung? Not there yet when it comes to craftmanship.

At the end of it, it boils down to package. iOS works well with the hardware, right from the very beginning of iPhone to current version. Can't say the same for other phone makers, which I have tried (HTC/Lumia/Sony). Sammy? No good reviews coming from my colleagues who uses mostly S3/S4.
