I have four iPhone cables. They are from 3G, iPad 2, iPhone 4 and iPhone 4s and none of my cable has any problem. It's still working. Maybe it is you?

But I'd say the prices I mentioned should be pretty accurate if not plus minus RM50.

I ip5 bought from SG, nearly 2 years old,work perfectly.

I am sure it will work. It's probably just more expensive.. and warranty is SG only (or did you have a WW warranty - buy direct from Apple Store, right?)

Don't know about you, but my iPod Classic cable from 2004 lasted me until about 2010. Then again, I have tons of cables everywhere and I don't keep count on how many years it has been used. It's not that expensive to get a new cable anyway. Charger is still good though, still using the charger from my iPod Classic at home. I like that it can change to the US 2 pin plug, makes traveling so much easier.
