QUOTE(benny888 @ Sep 21 2014, 08:47 PM) Regular iOS users fret about which display size 4.7 or 5.5 inches ?? well said bro. having switched from 5s to Z2 now back to 5s makes me feel my 5s is like a tic tac. I'm getting the 6 plus for sure no doubtFor us regular Android users, using big screen phones is already a habit 5 inch to even 7 inches !! For me is not a problem at all - anytime I will pick 5.5 inch without even any need to see or feel the phone. It would be ideal if it is 6 inches |

QUOTE(ftan @ Sep 22 2014, 08:23 AM) Not getting the gold sis QUOTE(benny888 @ Sep 22 2014, 08:31 AM) Overseas set will not be entertain. This is listed in Apple warranty but there are certain users who had claimed successfully. They will repair but you need to pay. My iPod I bought in Spore was repaired by Machines at a cost of rm80 . My iMac n MacBook bought online from Applestore online was repaired free of charge at QCD n VR Tech. My old imac was given a free 500gb harddisk as the default HD 250gb no longer available. Depends on which service center, i went to penang one they entertain me, but only after i made a complain to apple (both malaysia and australia site). Apparently they are required to entertain us, but not sure why they choose not to. I don't recall EpicCenter is one of Apple listed service centers. Google for full listing n mainly in KL, with one in JB n Penang Btw my 6 plus case just came in. Damn its huge. Lol Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(ftan @ Sep 22 2014, 09:54 AM) Wah, you getting both? So nice. hehe plenty of youtube videos for you to see side by side and size comparison. Gold on the 6 plus looks weird imo, but for the 6 it looks damn good. thats why i'm opting for space grey for the 6 plus. viewing experiece is better on the black panel apparently. I'm undecided between gold or space grey. Minor issue, I know. But heck, I've nothing to do but to wait upon Apple Malaysia to launch i6/i6+. In the meantime, I shall ponder on which color I want. Where did you buy the casing? I need to get one too. Most likely will stick with spigen ultra hybrid clear case as well. i bought mine from spigen ebay link QUOTE(chocobo2988 @ Sep 22 2014, 10:00 AM) Cant believe this is Apple iphone quality... ouch! call up apple singapore. they will sort out with uOpen box and found this dented on iPhone 6 .... 1unit major dent....another one small dent. Received yesterday from Apple SG. Can get replacement?? ![]() |

QUOTE(Edoras @ Sep 22 2014, 11:37 AM) At first I am tempted the larger 6+, but later after hearing many comments stating that 6+ is too large, I have second thoughts. Is 6+ too large to place inside our trousers pockets? Anyone can share their experience? Its larger than Samsung Note 3, right? don't worry it will fit just fine. i have working trousers, and as well as tight jeans, am using sony z2 previously the 6 plus is slightly larger than z2 it will fit just finelink watch from 5.01 onwards |

QUOTE(NightFelix @ Sep 22 2014, 11:57 AM) Jeans with this kind of pocket are feel not comfortable when sit down or driving. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « QUOTE(Edoras @ Sep 22 2014, 11:58 AM) sit down worry? haha the trend nowadays, (don't tell me you didn't do it cause i will call it BS, lol jk) is everytime a person sits down, be it in kopitiam, anywhere between meeting friends gathering or whatever, normal reaction is whip out your phone and start checking in, or fb update, or instagram. driving issue? i always take out my 4 phones from both side of my pocket and put it in the cup holder of my car, 3 of them in cup holder and 1 for dashboard holder to stream music. no big hassle, at the end of the day, all depends on personal preference. just my 2 cents |

QUOTE(shockk @ Sep 22 2014, 12:49 PM) Hey guys. Just got my iPhone 6. Get spigen ultra hybrid bro. best all around protection without adding much bulkBeautiful piece of engineering, indeed. ![]() Quick initial review:- - As a minimalist at heart, I just freaking-love the super-simple packaging design of the box. - Build quality is pretty good. No gaps, no imperfections. - Doesn't exactly feel as thin as I thought it would be. Probably because of the curves and increased size compared to my previous 5S. - Curved glass looks really awesome, perhaps accentuated by the curved sides of the iPhone. - The display quality seems about the same as 5S to me. Maybe with just slightly increased contrast and saturation. - TouchID fingerprint recognition seems a tad faster than 5S. - Battery seems a bit better than 5S. Just a bit. - Charger included only 1A but have yet to try 2.1A charger on it. Using the included charger, it does charge reasonably quick. - Call quality is great and loud. - Speakers are quite acceptable. About the same as 5S. - Vibration strength is nice and solid. Unlike the crappy vibration motor installed in Xperia Z2 and One Plus One (both phones I have owned before). - 240FPS slow-mo video is AWESOME. You have to really try it out. This alone makes the upgrade totally worth it, IMO. - Camera seems improved just a bit from 5S, but in my eyes, is still not be the best camera (on phone) out there despite Apple's claims on how much improvements have been put into. - Software-wise, it's quite silky smooth but my HTC One M8 does seems to be quicker (at times) interface-wise compared to the 6. - The iPhone 6 works pretty good with just one-hand. Can even use the 'swipe-back' gestures easily. Have not experienced the iPhone 6 Plus yet though, so I'll reserve my comments on that. Now, where to get a case? |

QUOTE(th3game @ Sep 22 2014, 09:02 PM) First Weekend iPhone Sales Top 10 Million, Set New Record i'd prefer they announce "malaysia" in the next batch country list... CUPERTINO, California—September 22, 2014— Apple® today announced it has sold over 10 million new iPhone® 6 and iPhone 6 Plus models, a new record, just three days after the launch on September 19. iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are available in the US, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore and the UK and will be available in more than 20 additional countries on September 26. The new iPhones will be available in 115 countries by the end of the year. “Sales for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus exceeded our expectations for the launch weekend, and we couldn’t be happier,” said Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO. “We would like to thank all of our customers for making this our best launch ever, shattering all previous sell-through records by a large margin. While our team managed the manufacturing ramp better than ever before, we could have sold many more iPhones with greater supply and we are working hard to fill orders as quickly as possible.” iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are the biggest advancements in iPhone history, featuring two new models with stunning 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch Retina® HD displays, and packed with innovative technologies in an all-new dramatically thin and seamless design that is still comfortable to hold and easy to use. Both models are better in every way and include: the Apple-designed A8 chip with second generation 64-bit desktop-class architecture for blazing fast performance and power efficiency; advanced iSight® and FaceTime® HD cameras; ultrafast wireless technologies; and Apple Pay™, an easier way to simply and securely make payments with just the touch of a finger.* The new iPhones include iOS 8, the biggest release since the App Store℠, featuring a simpler, faster and more intuitive user experience with new Messages and Photos features, predictive typing for Apple’s QuickType™ keyboard and Family Sharing. iOS 8 also includes the new Health app, giving you a clear overview of your health and fitness data and iCloud Drive℠, so you can store files and access them from anywhere. Customers are encouraged to check the Apple Store® app or online to receive updates on availability and estimated delivery dates. Every customer who buys an iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus at an Apple retail store will be offered free Personal Setup service, helping them customize their iPhone by setting up email, showing them new apps from the App Store and more, so they’ll be up and running with their new iPhone before they leave the store. Customers can also learn more about iOS 8 and their new device through free workshops at all Apple retail stores worldwide. aside from how much they are producing and selling, i'd rather they focus on the quality they meant to deliver. their iPhone 4 days are one of the best.
Anyway we will sure be having 8.0.1 soon, giving that alot of complaints with wifi issue. i had the same too on my 5S, having constant wifi drops. |
