I can't see which path should i choose in mechanical engineering.
Which one should i start as a fresh graduate?

1.Does working in automotive sector after 3,4 years time allow me to become an oil engineer with better position and salary? and vice versa.

2.Is position as a mechanical engineer for imported car companies exist in malaysia? such as bmw, mercedes, etc

Help.... icon_question.gif

Thanks.

I was joking boss. As for your question, I think "super high salary" would be a better choice for the long term.

Well, as far as i know....U being in the automotive industry for a few years have got nothing to do with oil/gas. To be an oil engineer (petroleum) u have to be a grad in petro science or similar.

On the other hand, they are willing to take anyone who has an engineering background and train to become field engineers or similar positions....just like i did.

I majored in com science....but ended up in oil/gas. lol.

every job is hard...in a way, u don get paid to sit around doing nothin eh?

it's something that is unique compared to other jobs u hear everyday though. Time for myself? ALOT! at least we have entertainment....pool table, tv room, satellite, internet. bring your own PS2 or XBOX if u want.

Try to apply though....check it out for yourself.
