Hi All. Just upgraded to 4Mbps package. But below is the highest rate that my internet can go. I know my place in kampung area in Penang island because if not mistaken previously my kampung only capable to install 2Mbps. I feel not good on the upload speed. Should get 500kbps or 50kb/s for this package. Already lodged report but no one yet to call for checking an onsite support or tested out my line over here. Any ideas? Or just dream. Using TP-Link Model ADSL2+ Router. The SNR margin is excellente (18-25.5dB) but Line Atenuation under good only (42-25.7dB). (Down-Upstream) UPDATE: Today 8 Dec 2016, TM technician came in for inspection. They still working on it now. Need to evaluate later once at home. Cant wait to see the improvement. huhu This post has been edited by teak87: Dec 8 2016, 11:53 AM Attached thumbnail(s)

QUOTE(syncomp @ Dec 8 2016, 09:16 AM) This is good. Mine would get 0.2 Mbps all the way for upload speed. Sometimes 0.0 Mbps. Doesnt matter how many times I've restarted the modem Mercy on you hoho. How can till 0mbps? huhu where is your location? I think either your modem or the infrastructure (TM line/port) problem. I just follow up with TM. They working on it to come to my home today.

QUOTE(zeronehza @ Dec 8 2016, 12:15 PM) sure.. if 1mb / 2mb streamyx upload only 384, around 0.2x only mine 8mb capp 639, around 0.5x only Ya. Agreed on the speed for streamyx 1mbps which my previous package used. The upload speed is 384 but if not mistaken I got the same upload speed as mentioned 38kb/s. I just wondering this 4mbps having quite the same upload speed. Somehow looks like throttled/limit already. Its okay then. Yesterday they came, and do some inspection the speed and looks improved. Refer below tested speed. Attached thumbnail(s)

QUOTE(syncomp @ Dec 9 2016, 09:52 AM) Biasa la bro.... Kampung.. Previously I am using the streamyx at my house in the city. Then I transfer it to my hometown. Everytime doing speed test 0.2 the highest. Dunno because of the infrastructure there or what. Got one time, my sister complain to me because of the speed too slow, 0.0 Mbps (the number is too small so the speed test just detect 0.0). She need to send her design proposal to her customer and it took ages to upload (kampung also got drawing design people do business online la TM, faster la put unifi there). Then I saw your post of the speed should be 512 kbps or at least 80 % of it. Later balik kampung wanna ask TM to reset port. I feel u bro huhu. I stayed in kampung also and some people says like rural area since our town just have KFC to be proud of only LoL. Yesterday they made something to the connection and my streamyx upload speed improved. From 380-400kbps to 430kbps. Im happy man.

QUOTE(akib_mullen @ Dec 9 2016, 10:32 AM) will use streamyx 4mbps next week. Any good modem to use? That can separate bandwidth? So far using TP-Link Modem Router looks stable and okay for me. But the settings inside the control panel are so advanced till sweats during the first setup. So pening. To compare with other modem like DLink/Aztech, if not mistaken their control panel are more user friendly based on my IT knowledge n experience.
