and how to know which ibusawat @ tm exchange tower that i connected to?...i live at tasik biru kundang...got 2 nearest tm exchange tower..rawang and sungai buloh...closest is sungai buloh..around 10km using measurement from google maps

well today tm technician come to my house to fix the SNR issue. they are telling me that the dslam open port speed to fast at 25mbps instead of 4mbps and the modem cant hold the speed therefore my SNR get a worst 8db..

afew minutes later after the technician makes call about correction the port to 5mbps..my SNR IMPROVED!! im getting around 28-30db!!

but

im alittle bit confuse when i do some personal experiment after the fix..what i do is :

modem router is set to default setting wish it use ADSL2+ & ADSL2 mode..
im getting 28-30db of SNR
my google ping is 59ms
speedtest ping is 29ms

then i change setting to

modem router set to G.dmt (G992.1) mode only
im getting 21.8db
BUT
my google ping is 9ms
speedtest ping also at 9ms


FYI when choosing ADSL2/ADSL2+ mode..my line getting stable straight line in speedtest insted g.dmt which is a little bit up and down to the whole process of speed test

im more into online gaming...so guys any advice on which mode to use??..as both mode giving me diffrent ping duration..which is better??..help help

guys..i need help..im at the end of the road now...im having problem with my TM streamyx!

so damn slow and got high ping playing online games!..expecially when playing iracing.com...i got 400ms!!!!

i have change to better modem too..still the same..i did call the tm technician to solve my SNR issue last time..well they do repair and after 2 weeks my connection sucks!

well i get a decent speed when using for browising internet... but crappy when playing online games..

when i test my ping to google.com i got 40 to 50ms ping and they said it was normal!..

im so fed up!..please help..

this week i report using mytm twice!!..and no answer at all..when i check back theres actually no record or service number for my report!!..WTF!..its like i did not do any report at all!

im using my internet mainly for IPTV and online gaming..


if theres any onther company better then TM i definately change!!!!

guys..im very frustrated la dengan TM...i been emailing them using the template..seems like they know very well to answer from the email..

my internet speed is somewhere around 4mb..which i dont have problem with it...but the line quality is BS..

i often play online game and my ping is always around 300ms++..its beri beri beri trouble for me as a online gamer..

last night i do some ping to TM server 200.????? (i forgot)...got 45ms+\-...they said this is normal...wat?..normal meh????..

then i do some adjustment in my tplink mode...OLD TM MODEM IS CRAP..ALREADY IN DUST BIN!...

i tweak the dsl mode from ADSL2+ to G.DMT...which is better!!!...i got better ping to TM server around 15ms+\-...my DSLAM is somewhere around 3-4KM i guess??....

same goes to ping on google dns...15ms..

but the internet quality is a bit unstable using G.dmt mode...ping to my online games is better around 5%..which is small..huhuhu

im in kundang area...

anyone having same issue?

bro...by way ur saying is the interleave mode is giving more ping?...so no good for online gaming?...

so it is posible to ask TM to change mine from interleave to fastpath???

what should i say to them if they ask why to change?..shall i say "ur line is terrible with online gaming..please change the mode!"?

and what benefit to change from private to public IP???

please enlighten me as im bery bery frustrated now

well a suprice today as i go to tm point then randomly ask if that possible to get the latest 8mb promo price which is RM140 for existing customer that already subscribe to 4mb plan with rm140 and they say it can be done!.

so i straight apply for 8mb promo...but only need to extend the contract for another 2 years..

so guys head to you nearest tmpoint outlet!

well what i can say is i AM not happy with streamyx..but due to working needs and others telco inavailability i have to use it..

BTW about Digi infinite 150...have you tried?..

are you a online gamer?..can you check the ping laterncy to the game server?...

or if not gamer, can you check the ping to local server like TM server using speedtest?..
