Any one of you facing slow youtube streaming?

Open other videos (e.g. from FB, daily motion and etc) and online surfing is very smooth. But when streaming youtube, it is damn slow. mainly 144p, sometimes even will lag with 144p!

Have tried the google DNS method but still the same.

I thought 4mb can stream 360p smoothly.. sigh..

Been having this issue for the past 4 months. Have to press the refresh a couple of times. At night it's even worse, 144p is playable.

Looks like it got something wrong in DSLAM. Did u heard any noise in your dialtone?  I also experience this last time. Report to tm.

Already did. Apparently there's an outage here. Service won't be restored till 18th Nov.

Thank you all for the helpful suggestions though.

I have this odd issue with downloading stuff from Epic Games Launcher. Each time I'm trying to update Unreal Engine SDK, my Streamyx connection would get disconnected after a few minutes of downloading. I will have to reboot my router to get my connection back.

Oddly Steam, EA Origin, GOG Downloader, UPlay and direct downloads from webpages don't cause my connection to die. Is TM killing connections which behave like Torrent downloads? In my case could Epic Games Launcher be using Torrent like features for it's downloads?

EDIT: Happened twice today, had to reboot my router.
