Rawang having Streamyx 4Mbps too??

Hi. This few day connection not stable(keep DC). Technician come to check internal cable and external cable(outside poles). The result for

internal SNR:22 db, Line attenuation:9 db
external SNR:22 db,Line attenuation:31 db

so he conclude as my internal wiring issues due to internal line attenuation 9db and will assign contractor to change.

I checked on the "Streamyx SNR Margin" thread stated the lowest dB the better for line attenuation. My SNR last week is 31db. But this time below 20db.
So is it my external or internal or both cables having problems?

lately ..every evening 6pm onwards, youtube will be so slow, but direct dload no problem

if watch 720p or above will be slow as snail

but 480p hits max speed most of time

more or like the same.. as long 6pm onwards, youtube speed will around 90kb/s .. other time, full speed

but direct dload seems not affected tho..

before service fault my 4mbps is constantly stable.
after today TM technician come to fixed, my internet speed drop by half getting 2mbps......

My RIGER-DB120WL has problem Less than 2 months old. When the power is switched on, no light illuminates.


What is the common problem? Power adapter?

Do I need to bring this router+power adapter to TM for replacement? or Should I lodge a report at TM and wait for the technician to come to my house for replacement and setup?

I'm using Streamyx 4Mbps. Even youtube 240p is buffering

"Data Rate" I getting 5xxx(down) 1xxx(up)
"Attainable Rate" 9xxx(down) 1xxx(up)

i think you better bring it with the box to tm point.
if i'm not mistaken they give life time warranty.

your line attenuation is very high and your snr low . it cause many problem when surfing internet. call tm

when i watch youtube or surfing internet my computer suddenly have no connection, the internet is fine. is it the modem problem

Obvious wiring issue. Let them know poor attenuation.

Meanwhile, check your ADSL filter.

okay because when i install the stremyx, the technician told me to install the new wiring.
i paid rm250 for that, after than everything okay until recently problem arises (phone no dial tone, no internet).
after they fixed it now my internet slow like hell....
