China's websites are historically always slow from within TM's network. That's why I now have a permanent proxy server for sites like that.

We don't know if your location support 4Mbps, there are many complication for this (cabinet support, no port etc).

Ask agent or just phone 100 for confirmation.

As per post #758, do go to TM Point and verify that your area does indeed support stable 4 meg. It is worth the trouble!

My experience: 2 times I went to verify. I asked the TM Point staff to call their tech dept and ask them if my specific area was ok for 4 meg. 1st time I asked, they said "belum stabil lagi", and advised me to wait. 2nd time (about a month later) I asked again and they confirmed that it was stable in my area. About 2 weeks later I got a call from TM offering upgrade from 1 meg to 4 meg and I grabbed it. The reason I went thru the trouble was I had heard horror stories from users in my area of frequent disconnections, very slow speed, cannot browse etc on the 4 meg package.

Thanks for advice, I have asked TM agent and call 100 already, both said my location not supported for higher than 1 Mbps. As I already wait for 4 years still cannot upgrade, so I decided complaint to MCMC and CFM. but didn't get any great news. So, I posted my modem details to get confirmation from you guys. I am helpless and don't know why my line is good enough, still cannot upgrade.
