Happened to me recently, lodge a report, the fix it then happen again, lodge another report,they came check the cable, margin were sooooo bad... Till got 1mbps speed...

1st report manage to get rm30 rebate...2nd report belom claim yet.

Having the same problem as well. For me it's now like the internet connection will get disconnected every alternate days. After complain they reset port or something on their end, it would be fine until disconnected again.
Seems like they really have no idea what is the problem, and just know how to reset port. KNS.

They will offer the rebate to you automatically? How to claim such rebates.

Nothing wrong with your ADSL connectivity. Packet loss in what kind of game? I know there was packet loss issue since last night, or having high latency to all Steam servers in Dota 2 and CS:GO.

Until now still getting 200ms when connecting to Steam servers in Singapore.

Did streamyx just limit download quota in Mega? Was downloading a 155MB of stuff and halfway I was told to check with my isp about the limiting quota. Same with I download the other file. URGH

dota2 and csgo.. this had been bothering for about 4months.. sometime it went smooth and sometime it just go all wrong.. the times when it went smooth were usually in the midnight and weekend sure with the highest packet loss which can reach till 50..

Once you lodge a report that require technician to come over, you able to claim it after the report are closed. Call 100 and speak to the billing section for rebate.

My problem is the same as yours, lodge a complaint where connection keep dc and speed were not as per subscribe...even after they reset your port. The latest repory require them to redo the internal wiring, the set up new cable from the pole into the house.. but this one have charge... by the technician.

Hi guys,

Do you guys experience issues where the Streamyx router intermittently resets a connection to a server when the download cap is reached ? Say if you're on 4Mbps, when you reach 4Mbps (aka 500 KBps) download, the router resets your connection.

I experienced this many times in torrents and downloading tutorial videos.

IF I do not limit my downloads to less than 500KBps, the connections are constantly reset, means my download drops to 0KBps. And because this happens so frequently, my download never reaches full speed.

So what I did was limit the download on my downloading software to 100KBps for each download. With this the connection is smooth and the connection won't get reset.

This happens to torrent as well. If I do not limit torrent downloads to 450KBps, when the download hits 500KBps, the connection resets. I can't surf, I can't do anything. The only solution is limit torrent speed.

I suspect the TM router is configured in a way to stop us from constantly hitting the maximum download. Any thoughts here?

So to clarify, yes, the call was definitely from TM. The notification varies, some get sms, emails, automated calls... Internet usage definitely has no quota, but your total bill per month does...My explanation above might be a bit messy, so if you have any other doubts, ask away... smile.gif
