Hi bros here...just want to ask for expertise here. I'm on streamyx 4mb and I've been having corrupted files (zip, rar, exe) whenever I downloaded files online for a month now. Strangely no internet disconnection or static from phone. Here's my modem detail...seems high CRC errors on both downstream and upstream, eventho' SNR margin and attenuation show normal readings.

System log also shows alot of errors. Any advice?

last year also same CRC i on 4mbps
i had complaint tm technical told me my line good but i did show him about CRC he say normal

i just subscribe to 4mps streamyx..haha
but then sometimes when i watching youtube or stream...its kinda buffer or lagging.
how do i improve this. They give the silver innacomm router. I try to test the speed using speedtest page and getting 4.1 Mbps download and 0.41Mbps upload. Is this normal?. Cause last time when using Unifi 5Mbps..i can stream or watch youtube without buffer

3 days already dont have internet connection,
Call 100 said it was related with underwater cable problem,
but why others still have internet connection,
Can I ask rebate or anything for this problem? 

Most of the time, complain to TM 100 enough to solve most issues. If TM dragging the issue/reluctant to assist, then complain to MCMC? I've never complained to MCMC before, so maybe the sifus here can enlighten us what happens after reporting to MCMC?

My 4mbps streamyx plan is really, really slow. Previously subscribed from the college plan thing where 4mbps download with 1mbps upload = RM88.

I can't play online games (dota 2 with 2K ping and 49% packet loss), nor stream YouTube or even load Facebook!

Called up TM @ 100 and they say they'll restart and get back to me, but still never did. But when I do SpeedTest, it shows out ok ok only within 1-2mbps.

When I look at my torrent, it shows yellow light which says "your listen port is blocked. Speed may not be fast". Is there any correlation to this?

I'm using an ASUS modem now, is there any way I can tweak to make the speed better? :S

How to check for modem upstream/downstream capped?

Hi everybody here, I am Streamyx 4MB for few months here, as really feel ashamed to called 100 many times for reseting my Port I think as when the speed is slow as even less then 1 MB.
Feel really mad as have to keep doing this practice for many times as even technician came to my house said it is like this, only have to maximised the speed by request TM to do so, however the do not like to do so! As the speed really sucks Up and down. While feel really mad as paid 4Mb price and get from 1 to 3 Mb speed !!!

Wanna ask...my current connection is streamyx 2mbps.. Can i get 4mbps from my router readings? Tmpoint said no more 4mbps ports in my housing areas. Thanx

My experience:
If TM calls you and offers an upgrade, 4mbps is RM130+GST/month (no free modem/no hypp tv/no free cordless phone), 8mbps is RM150+GST/month (with free hypp tv). I turned down the 8mbps package, and when they called me offering Unifi, I said TAK MAU...MAHAL!

In the past, ppl in specific areas and income bracket could get 4mbps for RM88/month...that was a special promo. Wish i was eligible for that...it's nice to save a bit more money in these hard times.

4 years din use streamyx, today just installed 4mbps line. So din really know what's the story right now.

By using TM provided ADSL modem, is there any throttling when P2P?? I seems can't download torrent using streamyx, same torrent using Umobile data blazingly fast, streamyx can't start at all. WTF
