was goin to penang nex week so thinkin of droppin company at bayan lepas a call tis monday askin bout vacancy n if possible arrange a short interview.

wondering is it a good idea to show my initiative as my result were not that good. hope it wont annoy them.

do drop me ya comment. thanx in advance notworthy.gif

impossible la.... result is a ticket to get into interview....

initiative?? stupid action i think

better go to job agency or walk in interview and show ur positive thinking and persuade them to hire u..

If you do this, they will ask you to leave your resume there. Nobody will interview you on the spot.

That will waste your time, money and effort. Perhaps you want to do this if they have a walk-in interview but keep in mind that a walk-in interview is just a screening interview.

Sorry to say that it's a reality unless you have a strong technical background or you have joined this competition or that competiton.

dint reali join any competition......but my interest in programming is there as i score quite well in them but other subject such as management subject i did poorly.

technical skill got but totally unrelated sad.gif apply to work as software engineer but i only got experience in pc troubleshooting from my part time job.

there is no such thing as "show initiative" in this context (finding a job).

if u r freshie, then all you have in pocket is your result or "help from friends" (this may not always work, btw) to get into an interview, a proper one, not the "walk-in-interview".

Getting an interview opportunity via friends who are working inside is always better and more effective.
