Act of Aggression is to be set in the 2020s, during which many states around the world have gone bankrupt from a massive economic crisis. This results in the growth of an organisation known as the "Cartel", a shadowy organization that has infiltrated numerous government organisations and agencies, which this forces the United Nations to respond.[3]

Act of Aggression will include two separate single player campaigns. In one of the campaigns, players will be a head of a military organization created by the United Nations, known as the "Chimera". The Chimera special unit consists of super soldiers and are under UN command and formed by personnel that come from different countries of the UN.[4]
