Got my first Legendary Pulse Rifle (Bad down something, it's available in vanguard armory. I think this is the most balanced pulse rifle in vanguard armory) from rare engram and a legendary helm from a legendary engram.

I still haven't complete the weekly heroic, will do it on friday night. Anyone wanna join me?

lvl 27 hunter, just few lights away from lvl 28.

How do you level up so fast?
Just spend your points on Legendary armor, save some coins for Exotic then keep upgrading them.

To farm ascendent stuff;
1). daily reward from public events
2). higher lvl heroic mission (on the left side of the planet's menu)
3). dismantle legendary/exotic. Legendary gives 2 or 3 (random, at least 2 but more if you upgraded it beforehand) and Exotic gives 3 - 5 (at least 3, more if you upgraded it beforehand)

You need it to upgrade. Armor matters for leveling, not your weapons. Once you reach Rank 3 of any faction (Vanguard, crucible & etc) you are guranteed a legendary weapon from their armory so don't waste those marks on weapon. In fact, for every increase in rank you get legendary items. Spend it on your armor.

If you have left over marks and already acquired all legendary items + MAXED your faction (lvl 3), keep farming em marks to buy legendaries and dismantle for those ascendant shards.


I only played for 2 - 3 hours on weekdays coz of work but I can achieve lvl 27 in a week and a half. Don't waste your time on farming item but focus on completing strikes or crucible/collecting resources/public events.

yesterday my legendary engram gave me the Exotic Rocket Launcher Gjollarhon (dunno the correct spelling).

Then the rare primary engram gave me a legendary scout rifle 'The Calling' (Future War Cult). What a lucky day for me lmao

The game will get better over time. Bungie knows better. There's a reason why Halo is one of the best selling shooter franchise out there.
Storyline of the current Destiny is not that dissapointing, it's just vagued. and yeah if they keep releasing DLC's it'll be like solving a puzzle

Void sniper or shotty. Shotty if ur aggressive. sniper if you have good aim and patient enough
Fusion Rifle is ok too but considering the charge time.. i'd rather go for High impact shotty
And get a void LMG, rush for Heavy ammo.

LMG must be high impact so u can take down enemy pretty fast. (decent range, decent stability, balanced RoF)

I've beaten Atheon with my friends from US in less than 30 mins after a few try. Got the Legendary Void AR (Atheon's Epilogue)

The team composition and strategy was like this:
2 Defender
2 Warlock
2 Hunter

Relic team: 2 warlock 1 hunter
Portal team: 2 defender 1 hunter

2 Defender and Me (Hunter) defends, while the other 3 goes for the relic. same thing, when time of vengeance is up.. everyone will jump to the middle platform EXCEPT me. So it'll be 5 people shooting at the boss instead of 6.

Why? Since I'm a hunter gunslinger, my job is to spam ulti and clear the supplicants for the team. There's a spot where you can jump to a pillar and snipe every single supplicant easily with you golden gun spam. It's next to the left portal.

Make sure to clear suppplicants around the portal where the relic team is about to come out. We often see the relic team dead just because we couldn't clear the supplicants who are camping there in time.

As soon as the Time of Vengeance drops to 3 second, the defender Titan will drop a bubble shield for the relic team to jump behind to the entrance. Those who doesn't belong in the relic team, will stay inside the bubble shield until the relic team gets teleported. Another note, those who doesn't belong in the relic team make sure to stay slightly ahead of the person who is carrying the relic so you don't get teleported.

(The rule is, the people who is the furthrest away from the boss will be teleported)
