Can't believe I managed to solo weekly strike at lvl 27 lol. Completed my first exotic bounty and got the Invective shotgun!

Guy, what is the roman numbering after armor's name. I realised most armor got number after their name, some II, some IV, some no number, but the description and stat were all the same. What is that for?

What an eventful night! Went hunting for the Queen's targets with 2 friends and received 3 legendaries in less than an hour (thanks guys for the tip on returning to orbit and retrying to get an easy target ). Got a helmet and 2 chest armor, would have been better if the 3rd reward is a gauntlets or leg armor, but I'm just thankful I didn't get 3 helmets in a row

Then I visited Xur at bar to have a look at his goodies. Hmm... An exotic Warlock helmet (Apotheosis Veil) for 13 strange coins. If I can complete them strikes this weekend, I could probably earn the extra 4 coins I needed. But since I have 24 motes of light, went for the engram instead.

No. We did a moon mission and 2 earth missions. Each of us received the same gear twice though, 1st and 3rd missions gave the same reward.

they really should change how some bounties work like defeat Sepiks Prime or fallen walkers. It sucks that you have to be the one doing the final kill on them in order it counts.

For the walker, can we just head to the same spot on a patrol mission and kill the walker? At least you'll probably be the only one there as compared to a strike with 3 people.

I just started doing something I should have done ages ago. Leveling 2 new character, get them to at least 27 and solo nightfall strike before the weekly reset.

The 1.0.2 patch will go live next week, and includes several changes to the Cryptarch and Engram experience. These changes guarantee that Engrams will always decode into items at or above the quality of an engram.

Only Engrams that drop after 1.0.2 are subject to this change.

Cryptarch Changes 
Cayde-6 took the Cryptarch aside and showed him a sack of doorknobs. He decoded that mystery pretty quickly.
Legendary Engrams will always produce Legendary or better quality items, including Materials or Exotics
Rare Engrams will always produce Rare or better quality items
Rare engrams will have an increased chance to produce Legendary quality items

Activity Changes
Daily Heroics, Weekly Heroics, and Vanguard: Tiger Playlist activities will include Rare and Legendary Engrams in addition to their existing rewards

Item Changes
Ascendant materials have been promoted to Legendary to closer associate them with the gear they are used to upgrade
Legendary Engram items that exist in your inventory will be demoted to Rare quality when the patch goes live, so decode them while you can. But let’s be honest--even if you don’t, we all know they were blues already...
