There is no difference between DVI and HDMI, HDMI carries both video and audio, while DVI only video,.

But if possible, try to get one with HDMI...because its the standard for all other gadgets...Android box, consoles, smartphones etc.

But mostly, get an IPS panel monitor if you can afford it. Don't buy TN panel unless you are really low on budget.
