helped me to fill out a form for the gold coin contest. She said even I received SMS but this
did not mean that I would get the Medklinn Air Steriliser. These 200 Medklinn Air Steriliser are only
available for the first 200 customers nationwide. So, I do not know if I can get it or not..?

You mean need to provide income info on Ringgit Plus sign-up form..?
I think nobody will provide the accurate income info as this question is too sensitive.

The problem is the site asked for full name, IC no, Hp no, full address, bal bla bla...
I prefer not to disclose it over the net coz I'm not sure my mobile device is clean from spyware or key logger. Further more ringgit plus is just a blog.

I think Ringgit Plus needs the personal info to match with OCBC to make sure you did place the FD.
But I was not required to provide my address on Ringgit Plus site.

i presume it's based on total registrations in RP since the unit is given by RP, not OCBC.

if this is the case, i might still have a chance to get the unit cuz i registered it on Tuesday (gotten SMS + email); have yet to place the FD in OCBC (planned to visit tomorrow).

good question brother. my guess is they won't even if ocbc tells them 200 oredi. why? RP probably gets some sort of commission per registration & probably bonus for successful sign-ups. And if u were OCBC would you tell them to say "200 reached oredi"?

Definitely agree with that..Win-Win-Win situation: ocbc wouldn't tell to stop even if met 200 sign-ups (~to gain more FD deposits), RP would continue to receive the registration (~due to some sort of commission or bonus with our details) and FD depositors continue to deposit (~get to try luck for the xtra free gifts); else the 12mths FD 4.1%pa still a not so bad deal though..

Just wondering..

Does the bank officer get some sort of commission for FD processed by them?

Lets say "ABC bank officer" able to get RM 10 million worth of FD processed by him.. Bank will reward him anot?
