May I know what is the material to use for countertop which is scratch resistant, stain resistent and easy to maintain and reasonably price? Is granite or cement fit the bill? Thank you thank you?

I want to ask for opinions from people around. The more the better.

It has never occurred to me that I would face this trouble. I am installing a kitchen hood with 1,000 suction power but the length of the ducting hose will be 7m long due to the position of the windows.

Please tell me if this is definitely too long and suction power is too low or useful. Did I do sometthing wrong here????

It's too long, the suction will be bad

I discussed with various ppl. Yes, too long. Suction will be worse but not sure how bad it will be. Gotta try and then will know. Altenative is change the drainage piping to suit a shorter distance but who will guarantee this would cause a new problem to my drainage issue. Better to leave that alone right? Another way is to add an exhaust fan at the exit.

I don't believe I am into this problem. Who's fault, developer or me?
