Materials aside, minimum charges for workmanship and delivery is RM400, last time I asked.

If looking for a small piece only, best to go straight to a few shops/factory and ask if they have a half-cut/ random-cut/ scrap piece. Then can get much cheaper.
If they cut a new one for you , they will charge you for the whole slab, no matter how small is your piece.

Besides the material/stone, the factory will also charge you for making the edges, per foot run.

< 4g - its glass. the color from the glass is actually just on the backing. if compare to spray paint and acrylic (which is color all the way thru) you will see like glass first and color at the back. The effect is quite different. For me, not so nice. It also has a aluminum edging. Some are thick and ugly, some are thin and well depends on if you can accept the frame. color part only on the front. >

This is 3g actually. In 4g there is no aluminum edging. Cantik, but without the aluminium, the glass edge can easily chip and crack if not careful.

Mine is 4G. Absolutely no edging at all.

They also got 5G - reflective glass, no edging.

If you plan to use concrete, you will need to tell the contractor to do the inside clean and smooth, or tile the entire interior.
Otherwise bits of sand and dust will always fall off the top and side.
And you still have to fit the doors, which is the most expensive part of the kitchen cabinet anyway.

Fazab whats the price diff like between normal glass door and 4G that u installed ? Can tell me how much are the base unit and wall unit per foot run ?

There are two 'types' of 4G being offer - the cheaper one has chipboard/wood backing, and the aluminum edge wraps around the wood. From front you can't see edge. This one I understand not much expensive than 3G, because still use chipboard/wood.
The one I have is glass on full aluminum frame, the glass extend out a bit so you can't see the edging. Not sure how much pfr cost, bought as package.

No, glass door not stain resistant. Glass is actually very good for collecting fingerprints.......
Just much easier to clean, wipes off easily, and the shine last.

If you choose 3G or 4G glass, especially 4G bcos lack of the protective aluminum edge, you will need to stick those plastics stud 'knock protectors' here and there to prevent chipping and cracking.

BelKitchen did mine late last year. Everything OK. No complaints.

There was a slight delay due to a wrong size door. The branch manager himself came to deliver n fix it.
