it was a game that the attacking players thought we should win.
but the defensive side of things were a let down. |

QUOTE(undentifyxd @ Sep 13 2014, 10:11 PM) last season our defensive record was among the best on the league yup. need more drills and practice, although many insiders keep saying wenger takes defensive training very lightly. maybe after a few more game with a consistent back 4 line up we can defend properly our back 4 keep changing after 2-3 games |

QUOTE(undentifyxd @ Sep 13 2014, 10:18 PM) i dont think wenger takes it lightly. the set up is alright but the chemistry among players to execute it is not there yet. chemistry is main. last invincibles batch were not that individually superb all the time, but one can see that they are always happy playing together and for each other. |

won't matter if we spent $200M buying new players, they won't improve us as much as a new manager. i have so much respect for arsene, but he is simply getting 'stale'.

QUOTE(tkh_1001 @ Sep 13 2014, 11:40 PM) not sure what happened, but when he first came in, he really looked like our replacement for fab. but somewhere along the way, he just reclined. sigh. if given the choice, mou would prefer ozil over fabregas. a proper manager should bring out the best of his players, not push them here and there to experiment non-stop.i really hope he would come back. i believe he needs a free role. but have to agree that he is not very keen to get back the ball after he lost it. macam ada primadonna attitude. agreed that he should show more hardwork and learn more about the defensive side of the game. but again, if he was played in free role, he wouldnt have to defend or even think about defending memang hnngghhhhhh not really. we ditched him this time around. he wanted arsenal. we couldnt take him in. but sigh. how good if he was here. but then again, im not sure how to balance up the team with all players eager to make something happen |

QUOTE(LordDenning @ Sep 13 2014, 11:43 PM) His playing style is definitely stale. Just like Spain in the WC, 1-2 season would look so pretty and all but when everyone learns how to counter, you end up being 1-dimensional and nothing else to turn to. spain = barca = arsenal. lebih kurang. Just like the commentators said in the Arsenal vs City game just now, "everyone knows how to handle Arsenal" "you look at the calender and see Arsenal and you go like oh we just have to be physical with them and stop their rhythm and that's what City are doing here" so spain and barca learnt their lesson; when will we? though spain keeps del bosque, one can see the overhaul going on. meanwhile at arsenal... |

im only really frustrated with wenger. give this exact team to klopp or jose or simeone, confirm they can teach and train them something new and better than what we have been doing all this while.

QUOTE(tkh_1001 @ Sep 17 2014, 05:33 PM) i have the same feeling. look at what is on the table for bvb team sheet last night. yeah, we've won bigger games at bigger places. no way those games are accidental. i just feel tactically we're not good enough or maybe not good enough. but thats just my feeling tho. anyways, i believe our player are capable more than that. and we lost miserably more than once a season. those don't accidentally happen as well. stale wenger... QUOTE(aladdin @ Sep 17 2014, 07:01 PM) klopp is the best replacement once AW leaves. yeah, arsenal follows spain and barca to a certain extend, they've on the change, we must too. the secrets out, everyone now ready to beat us.AW tactics works 10years ago, but not now. every team knows to counter us. i think any manager would not think twice if offered managing arsenal. they know the space the board gives to the manager to do whatever he wants; just look at how wenger tweaks and toys the team to his own personal liking. but the irony is, wengers job is always safe and not in any threat under kroenke. such a noob owner of a club. as long as the money rolls in, he closes his eyes to all the trouble on the field. |

QUOTE(crispycreame @ Sep 17 2014, 10:13 PM) I just hope the owner and board of directors will come to their sense and replace wenger. I think wenger now is lack of ambition. He's been too long in the comfort zone and know nobody will challenge him. He already taste the success before (except UCL) and become complacent. #wengerout. rumours say some arab group are still trying to buy arsenal since 2010/2011. while i don't like a sugardaddy owner, such owner pushes everyone to the maximum. yeah, wenger is complacent now, he knows the owner prefers goyang kaki as long as profits come in. its a pity, him staying stubborn with his ways is actually diminishing his legacy. #WengerOut #KroenkeOut |
