Almost finish my research with full con pelta c3+hoplite c2.

Conclusion: its full of magic.

You probably need spr if you think your build consume SP a lot. (never play offensive swordman build so im not sure)
My build is tank build, barely use any SP so no need spr at all.

Having full con tank build puts enemy at deadlock. I have 2.7k blocking.
Block penetration seems to have simple calculation - there is very little margin on blocking vs block penetration chance, or none at all. just hard figure.

To make it simple, you need exactly more than 2.7k block penetration to hit with 8/10 probability. Below than that you will only hit me at 2/10 probability.

And that's where the good thing come. Attempting to beat my 2.7k blocking by boosting your spr (spr increases block penetration), will result to your char being retardedly weak. So its totally not worth it. You can only kill me with either magic or poison.

Depends on your stat mix. However I find full str is not worth it. You better put emphasis on dex. this way you get better overall damage with crit and considerably good evasion too.

But then again to make that happen the right way, u will want your corsair to be made of at least hoplite c2 (amplified damage and crits) and barb c1 (even more crits) .

You can always use sword anytime, but better just stick with (1h)spear since hoplite's Finestra and Spear Lunge work only with it.
However you can still use any corsair skills with spear. Plus There are more monsters with leather armor (that are weak to pierce attack) than any other type of armors.

But then again its not really a concern. I dont have any problem dealing with weapon selection since I always bring 3 type of weapon with me (Velniup, Zega Spear & War hammer) to deal with any kind of situation

As you see Im not even raise my shield to deal with those mobs. Blocking all the way, damage that punctured through will get filtered by defense and finally absorbed by fat HP buffer.

To grow this kind of build in obt/official without reset would be PITA but its a very good investment to be one of most valuable party member, anytime, anywhere. And this build is VERY EXPENSIVE on equipment despite of passive job it do, so you gotta try it probably after you have some DPS char established.

Armor wear out pretty fast, so you need to carry at least two or three sets every time.
In that vid I was using crappy armor though, things got lot better when I switched to Roxona set (except legwyn legging) and Ludas shield.

Pinoy is worst, but because we actually understood what indon said in chat, that raise their cancer to pinoy level.

man.. I dream for a perfect region server that consist of VN, TH, MY, SG (oh, and Brunei too).. Why don't the publisher just get it already?

Yeah this build is intended for PVE only, which is good since grinding and bosses is one of main elements in this game; And recently devs made it clear that after lvl 200, lvling pretty much grindfest like in RO.

But then again I've been throwing challenge to random people and I win quite number of time . I can deal some reasonable damage when I combine umbo thurst and spear lunge, but they hardly land any hit on me (2/10 chance on notmal attack, 0.5/10 chance for skills)

Even worse for opponent that rely so much on skill. I just keep blocking until he exhausted of SP. And then Ill proceed to CC savagery while he cant do shit without SP (they hide and regen like most archers do, or potting like a pussy ). I still sometimes win over mage for their little HP, but I could never win against archer with poison.

HP isn't much of problem, the only time I need pots is when all my 3 sets of armor broken, and I lost the plate defense bonus (I lost of hp in vid because it was just solo demo, without any dps clearing the mobs). Most of time there will be healer in party though.
And considering we can get at least 1m from silver and recipe drops for every 2.5 hour of party time in prison, repair cost is pretty much negligible.
