this is how my fren did when she go stay in oz.

register a malaysia prepaid mobile no with the bank. every month reload rm5 just to make sure the sim card active.

then use this sim card to receive TAC, receive TAC is free in oz, should be the same to other countries.

in cambodia also can receive the tag code, just continue using the sim card, have roaming mostly.

sending SMS to your phone will not cost you any money even if roaming.

only when you answer calls or send back sms it will cost shitload of money.

digi prepaid got that 365days keep number active service. rm35 per year. i think that's easier than have to topup every month.

tac will not be sent to overseas number.

like what the rest said, get a malaysian pre-paid, make sure roaming is activated and keep it alive every month.

add your usual transaction to favourites is another option, so tac is not required

the last time i used this was last year, i activate the 365 days then i just keep the sim card in my wallet. whenever i need to do telegraphic transfer, i just put the digi simcard in a cheapo phone and it was ok.

dunno if this year they do not provide this service anymore.

You have to inform them once. Then it will be activated as long as you didnt terminate the line.

Is there any deal like pay RM10 a month as you want the number to be alive or should I change to Digi Prepaid to get the Super Long deal?
*
i think the best plan for now is super long life or the XOX 28months validity
