hi guys, been doing Rifts and GRifts for about a week or ++ now, and looking to ask what are the legendary gems that DH players aim for to toss in amulets/rings. I'm currently playing my gimped cold sentry build (because I'm dropping max 2 sentries! ..and replaced a hatred spender which is part of the build to a generator - evasive fire).

in other news, have been quite lucky; 1 rama dropped on my 2nd day of rifting, and another dropped just today, gave it to my friend whose barb has been running T2 with me all week. also got my first marauder drop today (gloves) and a stone of jordan ring. no bombardier's rucksack yet, but probably second best (deadman's). no kridershot either, but a decent 2.5k dps Etrayu that I slapped my first rama on (tell me that wasn't a bad idea?).

Any comments, advice, are welcomed. For normal rifts, currently solo T1, and 2-man T2. Could probably solo T2 by now. That being said, my friend's barb and I can barely do T3.. so we're not putting out feet in that at the moment.

anywhere I can refer the build for this? including the passives. generally still cold damage build? since i have etrayu (20% bonus) and wrists (18% bonus).

Really RNG. In 2 weeks since my DH hit 70 and started rifting, I've picked up total of 4 ramas. 1 used in my Etrayu, 1 given to friend who was with me (he's never got a single drop on his barb and rifting much much longer than me) and now 2 more sitting tight in my stash. RNG oh RNG... and I've not seen a single rucksack, unity, krider, or tnt.

you're mistaken, ramaladni's gift is to add socket to weapon, not rings or amulets.

It's a known fact that a decently rolled ancient weapon are better than a non-ancient weapon. Another example is a decent/near-perfect furnace (with say 48~50% elite damage bonus on it) still outperformed by an ancient weapon which is non-Furnace. The exception here would be if the weapon has a specific ability modifier that you absolutely need for your build, example Torch for monks who need the Wave of Light cost reduction.. in this case the player can't really replace the normal Torch with an ancient-something else unless it's an Ancient Torch. In your case, the Marked for death on calamity is usually easily replaced by a decent ancient weapon of anything else.

And what statistic are you referring to when commenting on "1 or 2 nos. among millions of players" when referring to your calamity?

..also yes keywarden can drop 2 keys. Or none. Nothing surprising.

Despite that I still gave you a reply with substantial explanation. If you can't get that through your skull it's your choice not to learn.

So now you go lower and choose to attack people who play longer/higher paragon instead? This is Diablo 3. This is Blizzard's RNG. You know what that means? Paragon 1 being carried by someone into T6 also can get a godly gear. Nothing to do with time invested/paragon level.

And no, you didn't merely mean to ask whether the item is good enough. You think you're dealing with primary school kids here? From the way you phrase your post and the tone in which you ask, people know your intention. And people try to educate you to go for crafted ancient because it IS better. imo anything costing more than 25 blood shards is not worth gambling off Kadala. Okay well 50 shards is tolerable but not 75 & above.

Unless of course you've got nothing else left to gamble for?

To bluntly answer, nothing. Nothing at all. D3 without RoS is not D3. Wait for next sale to buy RoS if no money.

If your current BS is capped at 720, means you've only cleared GR22 since 7th of April.

Please try harder. GR22 is easier than a T6 rift. A T4 or T5 level maybe..

Seeing as the simulator keeps tossing salvage-fodder like nobody's business, I'd say pretty accurate Kadala-like

Maybe not max discipline, but enough of it, 15% multishot on all the gear that allows it IS common, definitely people can stack more than 15% elemental (cold/fire/etc) damage as well, and 3 legendary damage buff gems that are leveled high enough is also common. + not forgetting the right damage buff passives, and also elite damage increases. All these are not as rare as you may think.

However still with the above I'm not sure if these contribute to the billions of damage being mentioned. I haven't played my DH in a bit.
