ended up going from my 2 hand bow with 1.40 to Helltrapper with 1.60.

Lower dps overall but i get better AS.

the way I play now, I don't see it dropping caltrops / sentry anymore because i spend more time running.

furthermore with my recent changes in gear, i feel like my DH is a bit weakened (eg die more easily) but i do kill faster despite the lowered dps on paper.

that also I've recently replaced some emerald with diamond for better survival rate.

really need more vit / ar on gears.

Just curious to ask whether the Meticulous Bolt with higher travelling speed of the ball lightning better ?
          or the slowest travelling speed?

Steady Aim gives added damage bonus when standing at a distance. Running around because I really don't like getting hit.

one guy in bounty community found a really badass Helltrapper the other day

it has 2.9k dps, 700+ dex, 10% ias, 10% damage and it's not even rolled yet.

during uber ok la, phew phew phew - elemental arrow shoot damn fast, so shiok
self cast to proc m4d

but dont think can survive in grift - sacrifice so much crit chance, damage ...
going back to etrayu 2.85 until GG gear drop!

So what build most of you guys using now?

I would prefer the rucksack give charges. Tried it on ptr, the new m6 is stronger even if you just run 1 spender. 2 charges feels so meh. I dont know the numbers but it feels more intuitive dropping the rucksack and run with Custom Engineering.

I think the combination of easier trials/greater rift + fresh number for m6 made things really easy.

More dps is always good, means that we can have the slot for Preparation to get more discipline for smokescreen. DH dps is now properly tied to their main resource, so theoretically, having extra spenders are only a dps boost for different situations of aoe vs single target. Thats my 2 cents.

Kridershot has definitely became much better, since you can apply the slow with frost arrow(for slow gem+passive) and generate hatred. Else, you need a generator and will probably dependent on polar station. ( If you dont want to use preparation )

Not to forget, TnT days are now over, so it opens up possibilities like cindercoat and frostburn.

No need tnt ma. Since sentry only fire spender when you yourself fire spender.new m6 independent of sentry attack speed.

You fire frost arrow, sentry copy your action.And even if you have other spender, you need to use it for your sentry to use it.Means that if you have frost arrow+CA, you need to fire them for your sentry to also fire them. If you just shoot frost arrow, your sentry wont fire CA.
