Recently I tested with my racket NR600 with only one one layer thin Grip. G4... and I grip it till above Cap. So i found conpare with Thick Grip(2 layer of Grip, one Original, the another layer is Karaka Super PU), it more easy to smash and also for any hit... last time when I using Carbonex 21SP special, I like to put 2 layer grip, it let me feel better compare to one layer. anyone can explain why?? what will affected by the grip size?

QUOTE(davlee @ Sep 12 2014, 02:13 PM) It's all down to personal preference... Depends whether usually you are familiar with thin or thick "grip"... Thanks for your link... Erm... Currently I prefer Thin G4 Handle with only one layer grip... hehe.. last time I put two layer...On a serious note, thin grip lets you feel the bezel (dont know if this is the correct word) of the grip. But I prefer thicker grip coz otherwise, I cant hold the grip firmly... racket tend to slip off my hand if the grip is too thin... Read this up... Can always google for your answers... Thick grip vs Thin grip |

QUOTE(aewer @ Oct 17 2014, 05:22 PM) I will like to try Victor also... after Carbonex21sp broken, I wont think wanna get back the same racket... because really not suitable for me... shoulder pain gao gao... so after this I bought a Flexible racket, Yonex NR600. but really, if playing control, I like the feel carbonex 21sp give.. really nice to play with control and net.. But smash, tak minat nak cakap lah... haha... this carbonex 21sp is a round racket, old pattern... |

QUOTE(sackeen @ Oct 28 2014, 01:50 PM) i also need to change grip quite often about 1 months once due to sweaty hands, i think one reason is i keep it inside the bag after playing without let it dry in the air. good tips. If I use Towel Grip, I changed after 2 session... cost me a lot... now still finding the perfect grip for me... aiks... dont know which one suitable for me... |

QUOTE(Omage007 @ Oct 29 2014, 02:34 PM) why need change your towel grip just after 2 sessions? It become very kasak... I use until my finger got numb feel, very uncomfortable after 2 sessions... so just replace it... so totally dont want to use towel grip now... high cost... use back the PU grip ... last use the yonex ac135 grip nice... but really hard to find at my area.. not much... so now still searching the suitable grip for my hand... Just want to find a comfortable, and suitable grip only...No koyak wallet, Apacs Fleet racket very cheap, 2 pcs RM199, good enough for noob player. |
