QUOTE(titan @ Oct 27 2014, 03:19 PM) hi, i am happy with my racket however not happy with the grip. i have sweaty palms and based on online recommendations, i'm currently using karakal towel grip - replaced not over. i find that d diameter is too small and when wet, the grip feels thin and slippery. uncomfortable and disrupts my movements. my questions are: 1. any recommendations for sweaty palm other than towel grip + talcum? 2. which is better - apacs PU super grip / Karakal PU super grip duo? in terms of tackiness and durability 3. where can i buy them and whats the price point? need physical store as i need help putting them on 4. also, would i need two layers of grip now? if yes, can i just get any cheapo grip as the base? QUOTE(edi78 @ Oct 28 2014, 08:38 AM) hi..its not recommend for a player that have sweaty palm to use towel grip...this is bcoz the grip eventually will become wet and smelly and it can slip away from your hand easily while playing..better to use PU grip..any PU grip is same for me but make sure u change it often to avoid any problem..for me, i used KARAKAL grip..last longer.. I think towel grip is ok... the point of wet and smelly is becoz most of the ppl do not let it to be dry in the air after games. Usually just keep in bag until next session.Just for info..the technic to wrap racquet grip is depend on what hand you use to play badminton..only certain player and certain shop knows..for left hand is different than right hand.. Let ur racket to dry out by letting it out from your bag once finish session of the day. I usually keep my rackets in my room let it air untill its the next session thn only I will put it in my bag again. Another method i could suggest to titan is try to use overgrip. Its cheaper and also more friendly towards sweaty palm like us. Change it regularly please. If you like it thick, just wrap the overgrip on top of your replacement grip. Tadaaaa~ |

yea... as Davlee mentioned, easiest to differentiate between them is the sticky glue beneath it. Replacement got the glue, overgrip tarak...
How often to change depends on your usage and comfort of use. I change my overgrips whenever i feel they lost their tackiness. I have sweaty palms, so racket cannot grip properly will become a problem to me. I flew my racket twice.. haha. |

I think its my skill too noob. keep kena shoot by my colleague haha. 22lbs ???the z slash is surprisingly fun racket. boink boink boink... i think it is too bouncy. If you are a male and above the age of 18, handling 23 or 24lbs should be ok gua.... |

those living far away from KL/PJ should let us know your time so that we can arrange. A few of us here meet up quite often for yc or adhoc session, so shouldnt be a problem to us... |

QUOTE(MOMOchacha @ Nov 20 2014, 06:04 AM) LOL I got 3 tacket in my bag, Zforce 2, arcsaber FB and arcsaber 11..different racket different feel on the game. 1st few game will try to use arcsaber FB n arc 11 cod it is light racket n control..after few game later whole body warm n hot Ady then Zforce 2 for smashing game :-) so power wont have timming accuracy problem even though switching from light to even balance to head heavy. If i did that, my smashes and backhand all masuk longkang go holland... QUOTE(craxors @ Nov 20 2014, 09:38 AM) craxors rich yo... |
